and anuji, reality shows are fast turning into a form of serials and i think someone is going to start a fan fic soon with these contestants in mind ... 😆 😆 😆

well i dunt belive this thing is scripted but well if its scripted then probably sumone frm yalgar gharana is gonna b eliminated next week which is gonna b a nightmare if zee wants to maintain the credibility of the shw they shuld tell the exact no of votes each contestant has been getting or maybe they dunt show it cuse thres not been a lot of voting to boast about. whatever it is i hope this thing isnt scripted it kills the faith of audience in the channel as well as the show i certainly dint expect sumthing of this sort frm zee of all channels if its true its hrtbreaking!

Great points Jayaji, one very interesting thing this time I have noticed, probably all the judges will have one contestants in the top four (now the top four from each gharana will depend on who can carry maximum votes), not like the last time..........where Sharib and Jatin-Lalitji were out at the earliest stage. Definitely Joy is being kept only with the expectation that lots more votes will come from Assam this time also (I think it is time for him to go performance wise), but there is huge flood in Assam this year.......

no its gonna be someone frm either VS(junaid, harpreet, raja) or HR's(joy, mussarat, aneek) gharana cause they both have 3 left....whereas ID and BL both have 2 contestants left...so lets c

Well - it may not be the same order of gharanas followed.. may be it will be some other order this time!

As for who will end up in the final 4 or 5, my guess is (although some of these are actually better than the rest and should get there even if the decision is takn musically)

Definitely Aneek and Raja, knowing the voting passion from Bengal (and East) as well as Rajasthan, plus they already have the largest fan following!

There has to be one singer from across the border - probably it will will be Amanat/Junaid (as they have some non-musical advantage over Musarrat as well).. The nationalist sentiment is too tempting to be left unexploited!

Mauli also is mostly likely to make it, given the controversies and the hype surrounding her! If it was easy to manipulate the mahaguru decisions and keep her, secret public voting is no big deal!

While I am all for conspiracy theories and logical thinking, I do believe that Mauli is very popular and may in fact have roped in the highest number of votes.

After all, she did talk in Gujarati and ask for support from that region. And you know how regional fervor usually influences results.

So, I am going to believe that Zee did not have to manipulate the results to make Mauli the topper. She was, in fact, the topper, for whatever reasons.

Personally, I like her voice and what she can do with it. She needs a lot of training and practice, no doubt, but I find her a more exciting alternative compared to many other singers on the show. So, I do vote for her, and I bet you I am not alone. But I also vote for Amanat, Raja, Aneek, Mussarat (boy, he is the best) and Poonam.

..Sumesh, I agree.. i think i am pretty satisfied with the results of this week as far as the elimination part goes.. I can digest the fact that Abhijeet scored the least amount of votes.. he wasnt really a favorite of the judges and didnt seem popular with the public.. fine example being I-F where he is hardly every discussed.. as far as Mauli being at the top.. it is shocking but can be true.. she has a massive fan following.. and most of these fans are not judging her on her singing at all.. she has been emerging as singer but needs to work mroe on that..

Your thesis on show being scripted due to the fact tht one contestant from each gharana is outsed doesnt seem accurate as in the last contest as Sumesh pointed Jatin-Lalil gharana was out weeks before the finale..

Well, I am extremely unhappy with the public voting system. You cannot judge a singer through junta, period. But to script everything beforehand is little much I think. There is of course some positive chance of your being right but you could be wrong also.
I saw in some other thread you wrote abt the brhamastra of sarika. I think all the mentors present there (AFAIK HR was not there) took that decision because they all seemed to be unhappy with AB's judgment. I think they promised sarika to bring her back in the Brhammastra round regradless whoever gonna win it. I could be wrong, but again there is a chance that I could be right also.
I am also happy that VS won brhamastra but I think It is very unfair for them not to call srestha in that round after fighting so much for her. She was way better than the "Who-must-not-be-named" [because whatever you do that person is getting publicity. phew!!!!! most votes in SRGMP!!!!! real singers will get a heart attack]
