Raja's father Rafiq Sagar is a singer too.. And he has sung for bollywood movies like Pyara Dushman.. Music was given by none other than our own Bappi Lahiri..

Yeah you are right.. Do you think.. because of Bappi Lahiri's old connection with Raja's father, he was selected in the first place.. No doubt Raja is a great singer..

But the initial break.. may be.. I am not sure though.. Just thinking..
