I still like the guy maybe because he has that likeable quality about him - he is humble and doesn't really know how good he really is. That down to earth personality is his biggest attraction and his biggest savior IMO
I agree with u there! Forgetting the lyrics to me is not at all a big deal..its a known fact that playback singers have the lyrics written in front of them, and so do singers who sing in orchestras and live shows..nobody is expected to sing them by-heart..the most important thing in a talent show is getting the sur taal emotions etc. stuff right, which u guys have to agree, Raja has a very firm knowledge of..he is quite steady in his sur, may it be high or low pitch..he does the aalap and murkhis very well..he has a solid classical knowledge..
I admire him for selecting tough songs and doing full justice to it, unlike some who sing a 4th grade level song and get over-hyped..I have to say, looking back at all the songs he has sung thus far, I really like his song selection..
In the end, when I look at his overall performance, forgetting the lyrics part doesnt matter at all..
