All I have to say is this - Much more talented singers are being eliminated. Mauli's rocking performances have only been when she does item #s. As soon as she tried out something different she landed into trishanku. She cannot do anything else other than items, whereas Poonam n Sumedha have shown their versatality and have been consisent thru it all. This clearly shows who's the better singer.

Her family history doesn't matter in a singing competition, a talent in singing is what matters here.

i am of the opinion that even the show organizers should not mention where the participants are from and what their last names are- my naive solution to regionalism-related-bias.
now sympathy votes and votes based on extra knowledge take regionalism a step ahead.
if a singer gives sub-par performance, he or she should be out, no matter what they talk like, walk like, wear, come from, pray to and dealt with in their past. is this best human competetion? or most struggled competetion? most-loved competetion?
the lesser information we get about the candidates, the better.
JMO.. no offense be taken please, cos none is meant.
