Look I like Mauili, but i am not here to say who sang better.
TV Channles are not here to do charity. Their view is correct as what brings in eyeballs works for them.
Its business for them and they are here to make money not to figure out who is better and who not. The top notch of zee may not even know who mauli is or who shreya or whoever is, for them whoever brings in Monry are their people.
Remember, I can lay a bet mauli will reach top 3-4 and loose. as again that will generate fury of her fans and more discussion and more TRPs.
So mauli fans enjoy till she is there (Long way to go) and Mauli bashers dont worry she wont win..;) 😛

Overall I agree that the final decision was wrong. Shreshta should have gone through based on the singing.

However, Mauli was not completely off sur or off taal as a lot of people are saying. She lost sur in a couple of places in both songs, which is true. In "ab ke sawan", her lower notes needed more strength, as Vishal said. But, I've read posts which have coincided her singing with that of SUHIT and SANJAYA! 😕 Please! She is not THAT bad! The fact is that many people dislike her voice quality - a natural thing that she can't change.

Also, there appear to be more discussions on this incident instead of discussions on Reecha being eliminated unfairly over Rimi, who was a disaster in Round 1 of the next epi.

I think I alreday discussed about Richa in this thread only. It was also a blunder.
Mr Fun made the valid point. Its all about money. We Indians are crazy to see all this makings and start discussing on this.
