Performance by Aditya:

So, here is finally a performance which we all were waiting for.. Aditya sings tenuleke main jawanga from salaam-e-ishq.. what a performance.. loved it 👏 some contestants sing the chorus..

After singing, he greets all the people all over the world.. He says, though two gharanas have lost their contestants, this is another chance for them to prove themselves.. The weapons are sur, taal aur saaz

Asha Tai is introduced by Aditya - she says contestants are listening to her advice and taking into account when they perform and so its going to be difficult for her to choose the contestants.. Today there is no Ghulam Ali sahab

Theme - Favorite songs of the Mentors

First Gharana: Josh Gharana

A small AV is shown where the contestants are practicing at Bappida's place.. He says - "Dhamaka kardo ki sabke hosh udjaaye"


1. Harpreet from Punjab sings O maaji re


2. Mauli Dave sings karle pyaar kale tu hi hain

Comments:

HR - Mauli is very good.. she is the trump card.. Harpreet needs to improve
ID - Very good performance by both the contestants
VS - Vishal says Harpreet ka performance thandaa hain.. Mauli has got so much Hype that she has gone down.. has to improve
Bappida - They have tried their best

Ashaji - Harpreet sang very well.. Mauli's song was very difficult.. She said when Panchamda gave her the song, he sat with her and made her to learn the song.. there are many places where the notes changes, she has not concentrated on that..

Yalgaar Gharana

A small AV is shown here too.. He says "Aisa gao ki gangaraam hil jaaye"

1. Poonam sings Hungama ho gaya


2. Desh Gaurav sings Na jaa kahiin ab na jaa

Comments:

Bappida - he praises Poonam a lot.. Says to Gaurav that there were times were Sur was not perfect
VS - Vishal and Shekhar say to Poonam that she has been very courageous to sing in front of Ashaji and she has done very well..
HR - 100% credit goes to ID
ID - He says he had advised contestants to keep in mind of Asha tai and Rafi sahab.. But Desh gaurav didnot follow the advice

Asha Tai - All Mentors are praising her as she is the only one here.. Says to Poonam that she will become a playback singer.. Poonam gets emotional and says She has got everything now

Rock Gharana

1. Amrita sings kya janu sajan


2. Mussarat sings Tujhe dekh dekh sona

Comments:

Bappida - Says to Amrita that she had no life in the song and says Mussarat that he sang well..

VS - Vishal says to Mussarat that he must have his own style and not sing Rahet Fateh Ali Khan songs everytime and has to be versatile.. He also said aap zaroorat se zyaada harkaatein le rahe thee

ID - He said there was no expression.. Says Mussarat that he liked his song

HR - He says "He feels if one becomes firm in one type of song, then they can always improve themselves and so will always advice his students to sing only one type of song.. They can become versatile anytime"

Ashaji objects this and says one singer has to be versatile.. She also starts advising Amrita to watch from where to take the voice.. One can go out of sur, but if they give right feelings and right wordings people will not realize it.. She gives some advice that one has to close the mouth and then take the voice from nose whenever needed.. Then the way she commented in style, is must watch, cant explain it in words 😆

one funny thing was - Mussarat always saluting the mentors and mahaguru 😆

Eklavya Gharana:

Two contestants from Eklavya gharana are chosen..

Sumedha is chosen by Bappida and Tusshar is chosen by Himesh..

Tusshar is from Assam and so ID asks if he has chosen because of Assam factor.. 😆

Hit IT Gharana:


1. Junaid from Karachi sings Chahunga main tujhe saanj savere


2. Saberi sings pyaar karne waale pyaar karte hain shaan se

Comments:

Ashatai says these days there is a style where people sing out of sur.. asks Junaid and Saberi not to follow it..

Results:

Poonam of Yalgaar gharana and Harpreet of Josh Gharana get Green Light

I was switching in between star and zee.. so, couldnt do the live update.. when there is performance or advertisement in zee - i switch to star 😆 so a bit slow today.. 😳

Yup, Mauli Dave gets yellow.. She was the second best.. First best was Poonam.. But i somehow still feel - Twinkle performed this Hungama ho gaya better than this girl 😕
