Himesh atleast kept his promise by giving Vinit a chance and also taking him on tours in Aap ka suroor concerts.. He has always been supportive for his contestants.. Atleast he is not like those who promised but didnot give any break..

Qazi was selected through public voting 4 times not by the judges.... 😛

Why Aadesh does not give chances to new singers in his gharana like Hemachandra 😛 .... he gave only one song 😆 .....

Let s wait and watch who has ruined whose career and who is making baseless statements 😉 😆

BTW for Jadooji.... Without the help of Himesh, Vinit would have won the finals 😆 because he lost the finals only because of hater for HR not because of his singing 😆

It may b a false article but there is some truth to Hr ruining Vinit's career...
He made all this hype about Vinit & raised every1s expectations above d clouds then didnt give him as many chances to sing in movies(concerts do not reach as many listeners as tracks from a movie)
Plus he changed Vinit's style of singing to b more like his,makin him sing his songs & generally doing a fabulous job to promote HR movies/songs etc...
Plus those who r turned off by HR wont be excited about Vinit...
Vinit is almost HR's Mini-Me!

I would commend HR for keeping his word and atleast giving Vinit a break and playing a major role in seeing him through till the finals of C05...

Abhi - HR was the one who was instrumental in asking Himani to go when actually Vinit was eliminated in the 4th spot... So Vinit definitely reached the finals because of him...

As for whether he ruined his career or not.. well, I would say, that the movies in which Vinit was given a break by HR, he was probably given the most non-signifcant songs which were not even promoed well on television.. The focus was always on the songs that HR sung himself... So, though he kept the word of givign Vinit the break, he did nothing to really promote him.. Or should we say that he gave Vinit the platform at one moment and took it away after that!

Do you have any proof for this.... I dont think we should make any baseless statements here.... Vinit has been on number one position most of the times and he never failed below number 3 position..... He was the most consistent and was at peak when Ismail made walkout.... He had sung the quawali parda hain soooooo well.... We dont have any base to say that he was getting eliminated😃

Producer and director decides as to what promos have to be shown to public... HR can do whatever is possible for him and the only thing for him is possible is giving him songs to sing.... which he has done😃

I agree. No doubt Vineet is talented but I think that a real guru would
have nutured Vinit's talent rather than changing him into an imitation HR.
Of course most people ape their guru to some extent which is great if you
are Ajoy Chakroborty imitating Jnan Praskash Ghosh imitating Bade
Ghulam Ali or even Jatin Lallit aping RDB. But true talent emerges with
their own style.

Most of you don't remember I think but before he was placed, Vinit was
asked whose Gharana he wanted to be in, and he said that he wanted to
be in ID's gharana so he could learn the most. I think that they all started
out as serious musical students but it seems like by the time of pubic
voting showed up, there was too much time on hair and makeup and less
on riyaaz.

I think a long sustained career is based on true talent AND good training.
Shaan and Sonu have recognized this and took a cue from Jagjit Singh
and both have Pt. Askaran Sharma as their guru. Sadhana Sargam is a
student of Jasraj. We already know about the classical pedigree of the
Mangeshkar clan. Sunidhi has a classical background. Shreya of course
does (remember Kuhu Kuhu Bole Koyaliya). One of the reasons the
singers from Pakistan are breaking through is because they have a
classical background and such training is valued in their culture. Without
good breath control, they could never sing those quawallis.

Vinit is young though and I think that he can lay low for a while and
reinvent himself if he chooses and get a guru and work his way up (even
Rajeev and Sanchali are doing that). Or he could squander his musical
talent like Twinkle and join a soap!

I don't blame HR though, he is nice to try to help. I just don't think he is
in a position to give them the guidance needed. I feel like VS have a
stronger background in this matter.
