One thing I seemed to have missed in yersterday's episode, or probably did not understand very well...

Can any one let me know, what was that Eklavya gharana all about that had all the reserve force like Sumana Ganguli and others? What role would they be playing in the show? Would some of them come in as a wild card entry?

Please clarify 😳

They didn't clarify, Aditya said that they would come in at the second round of the competition.

All they said was "Eklavya" Gharana was a back up gharana now we dont know what kind of back up can they provide. 6 contestants are in each Gharana already but................ in my mind i am guessing a "secret" mentor or a twist will come in the show who might take over this gharana to mentor them. 😆😆😆 now wouldnt that be exciting?? so any guesses on if this was to happen who might be the "secret" or "guest" Mentor? or who would you like to see?? as a mentor? hehe thanx Jaya while watching the show i wanted to ask this question and get people to speculate what was going to happen but i forgot . YOU ROCK thanx for not being a bhul akkad like me and bringing this up hehe 😆😆😆

I was wondering the same thing actually 😊 Why would they need a back up gharana? Are they already so doubtful of the existing participants?

Participant in Eklavya gharana are from India mostly. I think that wild card entry would be Brahmastra.

Singers in Eklavya gharana wont have any mentor.they are on their own and i guess couple of them will be picked for gharanas later

So, yea..I was wondering the same thing..I was like..erm..who are these people? they just came out of nowhere and started singing!

Yeah Priya you are right. These participants are the "bin guru ke ekalaya". That is what Aditya said. Anyways we are in for a treat this time with such wonderful participants. It will be just fun watching them.

From what I know, Eklavya was a lower-caste guy who wanted to train under the tutelage of the guru Dronacharya, but he was turned away. But he didn't lose hope, presevered, trained on his own, and one day he impressed Drona with his skills.

I'm guessing these kids are going to try to impress the gurus in the 2nd round - and maybe if any of the gurus are unhappy with the way their gharana members have been performing, they can replace them with one of these Eklavyas.
