Your thoughts and opinions - C2007

Well I saw the first episode today here in the UK and me being a die hard srgmp fan was extremely excited about it. The things I'm upset about are why haven't they started from the first auditions instead of starting from the final 24 the show will finish much earlier and we won't get to see such a big transformation in the participants as we did in the ones in C2005.

Also even though Shaan is not hosting the show anymore and we all miss him a lot I'd like to comment on the new host Aditya by saying he's trying hard and is doing a pretty good job. He'll imrpove with time.

I would also like to say what is their obsession with the World Cup. In the new format of Antakshari which is not done by Gajendar Singh anymore they also had a sort of World Cup thing going on between the three leading ladies of serials on Zee which I didn't enjoy one bit. No offence to anyone and now their doing the same thing with srgmp. The World Cup's over ppl! Anywayz everyone has their own ways of doing things and maybe this idea will prove to be a success in srgmp.

But I'd like to say this time the show is much much more grand and the way the gurus entered was mindblowing. Ismail Darbar on the Haathi was hillarious and Bappi Lahiri on the carriage sort of thing. It was really cute but unneccesairy. As srgmp C2005 didn't have all this and still managed to touch our hearts. Lastly 65% - 70% of the singers - the final 24 singers sounded like they were at their first audition. Some however were extremeley good. I still have hope and can't wait for the next episode with all the overseas contestants. I really hope and pray that this show is a huge success as it'll be very disappointing if it isn't after watching srgmp for years.

I was a little entertained. You're right about the world cup thing though! I liked a few of the contestants, but truth to be told, I DEFINETLY liked C2005 MUCH better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😕 😆 😃

The starting of C07 is 1 million times better than C05's 😃 [My opinion]

I like Aditya. At times, he tries copy Shaan's style but I think Adi will improve with time. He's doing a good job. I wish they had shown the auditions though.

hi, i saw yesterday episode. And i think it will be very soon to say anything. We just saw one episode i hope it rocks like srgmpa 2005. Well the last girl from Texas rocked today , but lets see how far can go. I noticed that HR is so quite hopefully he come back to his joshh.
at last i am so happy that we got our SRGMP, so we will have fun here. inshallah

i have also seen the first episode only n i think it was pretty gud..about the singers i felt himesh's gharana didnt hav so many gud singers if u compare them with others.. it was the first episode n so its hard to tell.. i m lookin forward to other episodes.. i love saregamapa 😃

The ones who impressed me were the girl from Bappi Da's gharana who sang 'Saajna Ve..' (great control over voice), Mauli Dave and ID's middle east guy.

Noone has come anywhere close to Hema, Nihira, Himani, Debo 😕

Can you please tell me the name of Id's Middle east guy - Is it Amanat Ali??
