here in the winter its usually like +40 to -10...usually around 30...

No Snowflake. What I gave you is the worse case scenerio in extreme weather conditions when with the windchill it could go below minus 80! But generally in the Province where I live the normal is below 25-32 approx. Alaska is very close to N.America.
