Most of the professional singers now(alka, abhijit, etc) cant even sing the first line of that song and aishwarya.... You should have seen her. She was just like Lataji. What perfection she had. Plus she was only like 8 or 9 when she sang that. My whole family was speechless after they heard her singing that. The akaras, Aaah were so perfect,, what can i tell you. Now i surely know that aish will definelty make it big in the industry.. Very big. Congratulations india you now have another Lata Mangeshkar in the future who will shine India's name as much as Lataji herself did if not more👏

Cant say for certain but am almost sure that I've caught bits and pieces of that song being sung somewhere or the other 😉...

Regarding comparisons, be it in a positive or a negative sense, its too much pressure. I wish we could just stop with it e.g. who knows - by the time she goes to senior secondary, she may want to go to medical school and help the poor in say, Kenya.

Let us all just enjoy their singing - time will tell us all if we've seen another Lata/Rafi/Manna in the making...

Why could'nt Zee have decided it behind closed doors even if they had to consult the parents. They could have done it without the little girl listening to all the rude remarks.Even if the parents had to fight it out it should have been done when the kids were not listening.

What examples are these parents setting, tht its OK to rise even if its at the cost of somebody's pain and tears???

I agree with yo that parents cud hf been little more political however in Indian culture, the loudest survives.. I do agree that the discussion shud have happened behind closed doors. But hey.. this is show biz and u make money by being controversial... Gajji knows the biz too well.

i absolutely agree with you thats somethings are to be discussed behind closed doors , but its Alka yagnik who brought out the topic and she shouldnt have started it . I think there should be rules and regulations set up before hand as what is to be done in certain situations . There have been reality singing shows before where people who deserve to be in the show have gotten sick . Reality shows however need to learn how to deal with situations like these in a professional manner . The judges need some education too on professionalism . They just sit there and say anything that they want . Its ridiculous i hated seeing aishwarya cry like that.
