As many are asking me via PM – how to save the YouTube Videos – here goes a general post about it.

First – before saving – you need a standalone Flash Video (FLV) Player

You can get a free one: Here or There

To convert .flv files into other formats, such as .avi, .mpg, .wmv, .mov, or .rm, use CinemaForge.

Now about saving from YouTube: you can directly save it using this website: http://keepvid.com/ , it's quite self explanatory! 😃

If you are a Firefox user like me Javi Moya has created an extension called VideoDownloader 1.0 for Firefox which would download embedded videos and media files directly from Youtube, Google, Metacafe, iFilm, and other 60+ video sites. (more)
