i dont think the failure has anything to do with nihira, hemu or ujjaini... i think AS's music just generally lacks the X-factor

Whoever started this thread, using your logic that SRGMP singers were rejected because the movie was a flop, HR doesnt deserve that award, because NONE of the movie's he sang for did well !!!

Every new singer has to have a start, and I think the three of them got pretty good songs to start with. Atleast, I liked the title song of Alag and both Hemu and Nihira will defn get recognition from other m.ds and the public because of the songs.

Then what about Shaan and Kunal., were they also rejected.
I'm not sure about the movie, i dint watch it but the title song 'Sabse Alag', the composition was a classic so as usual did not go well with masses. Hit or no Hit Kudos to Aadesh. It was like infinite times better than what Himesh composes these days.Himesh's 100 songs would not come close to 'Sabse Alag' song. This song is simply great.

Its not a fair comparison to say a singer has been rejected because the movie soundtrack he sang on is not doing well. Alot of variables go into deciding what makes it or breaks it and as yet noone has perfected the formula.

The important thing is that these young talents were given a platform to showcase their voices and hopefully many more good things will come to them out of this.
