Ghulam Ali likes to perform in live concerts for the interactive vibe and crowd reaction, which is says is a big achievement for an artiste. His focus lays on concerts but he also tales care to release an album or two a year so that he can reach out to larger audience. "I am very clear about only taking on songs that are brilliant in terms of shayari. That's very important to me because main ghazal nahin gaata. Main ghazal ko gaata hoon." That's true! Ghulam Ali is coming out with an album with Asha Bhonsle in about four months. He praises Asha for her brilliant voice and says that she is a legend in her own right. This is his second album with her. He has also recorded ghazals for two movies 'Ashk' and 'Bekarar'. Following his tour of Europe and America he will go for some more recordings. |
