you are right pradip200.. zubeen has sung a handful of songs in the bollywood scene already ...

debojit cannot be compared to him ... just yet.. may be a few years down the line...both are of a completely different league...

this topic is started by a hardcore debojit fan so we all know where this is headed.... 😕

In that case why do such stupid comparisons. I truely don't know anything about Zubeen. I have never heard his name before Ya Ali. Now that I hear that he has sung 7000 songs, this whole thread doesn't make any sense. Its like comparing Vinit to Sonu Nigam (around five to seven thousand songs), Hema to SPB, and Nihira to Lata ji.

My views were only based on the Ya Ali song. After listening to that song, I feel Debu is much better than Zubeen. I will have to listen to atleast 100 more songs of Zubeen to make a logical comparison.

Appaji's point is also noteable. I earlier said that moderator should close this tropic because-

1) Debojit is not Assamese as mentioned on the tropic.

2) Zubeen is singing since last 12 years and debojit is new to music industry.

Okay guys

First of all this topic is not started by someone who is a hardcore Debojit fan. I'm not. I like him, but I supported him only in the end, because of ID. I personally feel Zubeen is better than Debo.

Also, Debo has lived long enough in Assam to be considered one of their own. And that's where his home is.

In any case, go ahead and close this topic mods. Else this guy might take me to court for calling Debo Assamese. 😉
