theek hai, great to provide home support when it's a close thing. nothing wrong there. debo had that support too. but he was a good singer to start with who was consistently in most people's list of top singers. he was also treated unfairly by the mentors and by his peers when they walked out. The strong home support was then some kind of divine justice.

but what about home support for BS and UA?

fwiw, i feel that sharib is an excellent singer, ALL my jibes against him in all my posts notwithstanding. he might not APPEAL to me, but OBJECTIVELY i think he might be as good as any of the other males we've had in c2005 or emaet, and he deserves all the home support he can muster. wld be actually happy for him if he won. ditto for aish, who i feel is very good and has versatility.

conversely for ujjaini. as good as they come. fwiw, i think her voice is even sweeter than himani and nihira who i believe were otherwise the best females. just my opinion.

but bunjo? here's all i will say- as a desi working overseas, i'd be ashamed of myself and question my own ethics if i supported someone i thought was incompetent just because they happened to be a fellow desi. i like her as a person, but she is too far behind in my estimation as a singer to merit home support. my POV

What was the point of this show anyway? To make money, or insult great singers?

Please please overcome the regionalism and vote for the most deserving pair which is clearly UA.

When Assam supported Debojit, even I favored that as Debu is a much more versatile and talented singer who was intentionally put down by the opponent mentors BUT PLEASE DO NOT COMPARE DEBU TO BANJO, it is a PAIN LISTENING TO HER. Please for God's sake, get over this regional bias and please make the best win, please judge their singing, not how cool or hot Sharib looks & so on.

When I see the past performances of EMET, I find UA being th most consistent, a jodi where both partners are good singers, share good bonding, no controversy between them , support each other. Check out their performance in

A) Janeman -2 (outstanding
B) Acha to hum chalte hain (very nice)
c kajra mohabwala (superb singing and chemistry)
d Har keese ko nahi milta ( they got standing ovation)
e Jana o Jana (OMG, unbelivable presentation)

we in the USA have not seen the latest episodes but read that all guests liked UA's singing better, please wake up people and think of India FIRST

I agree to Jadoo and Daisy here... Why are we over analysing things when the results are not even out??? 😕 Lets wait and see what happens... Regional controversy create karne se koi bhi jeet to nahi jayega na.. Instead, invest your time in supporting your fav. jodi... 😊

May the deserving jodi win! 👍🏼

BB - u are getting me wrong here... I have nothing againts your thread in particular.. I am telling all, including Pradeep'ji to better use the time to support UA or BS... U know I want UA to win and that is because I think they deserve it more...

Even AS/HR started raising regionalism issue after the result was out. And whatever Pradeep told was about the campaigning for the vote not about the actual vote. And every candidate try to get the hometown vote, but it depends on public how they take it. Till last week official voting trend wss showing BS is far ahead in other regions than Eastern region. It is really a kiddish behavior to open this type of thread to increase regional tention in the forum. And somebody even raised the issue of color in this thread.

I think Mods will take care of this type of thread.

very well said
