Firstly - I would only ask u to read my post again my friend - i compared Potatoes with other vegetables... and not with songs.. It was an allegory used and hope u understand what it is...
As for ur thoughts that we cannot do without aloo-pyaz, well its again a personal choice... there are people (the pure vegetarians) who never consume pyaz.. and then there are vegans and jains who do not consume anything grown below the soil and that includes potatoes.. so you logic there absolutely falls flat that they are the main ingredients of any dish... and perhaps its for some people who think that they are the necessary ingredients of all dishes, they dilute the dishes and remain deprived of the great flavors of a cauliflower or a bhindi alone...
Now, if u take a poll - u feel find some unique people who will say that aloo and pyaz is something they love rather than the other vegetables... So, anything that sells in quantity may not stand any rank when we talk of quality.. but then again, not everyone has the sense to appreciate quality... not your fault, but not everyone is gifted enough to appreciate the finer things in life...
This has nothing to do with the debate, but I thought pyaaz was a pure vegetable.. it's a grown grop, isn't it? 😕
Jaya, thodi roshni daalengi? 😳
