Both sang very well ,
A good song sung by 3 good singers.
Hema is a notch better .

But certainly TV also sang it really very well.

Vishwas was not good at all .... probably he was conscious singing before Hariharan & could not modulate his voice properly ...

Hemachandra was very good as good as Hariharan ..

I am just going to comment and not bother to say whom I voted for.

Hemachandra sang both the male and female parts of the song. For a male singer to sing the female parts is very hard. In an older SRGM episode, the judges made the males sing female songs and vice versa..and the contestants said that it was hard..the pitch is different, the scale is different.. Hemachandra did it to near perfection. Moreover this was the first time he sang a song of such class (almost purely classical) and the impact was very powerful. It was no where close to the original..but it was really good in its own way. I've heard this being sung in reality shows before, but his version was the best I have seen/heard so far.

Vishwaas and Twinkle's attempt was brave and I laud them for that. They sang it to the best of their capabilities and showed their versatality. Vishwaas went off sur in a couple of places, Twinkle sounded good becaues the female part of the song is flat so she sounded better. They were the best yesterday according to me.

lalit ji, I beg to differ when you say Nihira's I love you was better than the original. It was the best performance of SRGMP agreed, but not better than the original. Infact none of hte performances were better than the originals. Many came close to it though. At the cost of offending some hard core music fans, the songs which I thought came close to sounding like original were

Debojeet: Rim Jhim Gire Saawan, Ek Haseena Thi, Aao Na
Vinit: Tera Jaadoo Chal Gaya, Is Pyaar Ko main kya naam dun, Fiza, Sandeshein Aate Hain
Hema: Nahin Saamne, Hay Rama, Tanhayee, Woh Lamhe, Tumse Milke Dilka
Himani: Chittiye, Kaisi Paheli, Ae Zindagi Gale Lagale (she sang a male song and she was fantastic in it)
Nihira: I Love you, Chalka Chalka, Chup Chup Ke, Kehna hi Kya, Hamesha tumko chaaha, O Saathi Re, Rahen na Rahen

(Sorry for writin only about top 5, I never paid much attn. to the rest during the show)
