Debojit in Kasamh Se
Debojit, the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge winner will be seen in a new avatar. He makes his acting debut on Kasamh Se today.
"It isn't really acting," explains Debojit. "Basically I'm playing myself. I'm the Sa Re Ga Ma Challenge winner Debojit and I'll be appearing for a party sequence where I'll sing the Dil Chahta Hai ballad 'Tanhayee'. In fact, we just shot the sequence," says Debojit from the sets of the show. "It was fun, especially since the cast and crew are so helpful. I had recorded the track a night earlier and lip-synced it for the shoot."
So will we see more of him in serials in the future? "I don't think so," he says. "I'm doing this only because I get to be and do what I like to. I continue to be ignorant about what I should and shouldn't do."
