first of all...if we wanna talk phony tactic to gather popularity votes..then the only name which springs up in my head is DEBO....debo said assams phone line was cut..which wasnt..he constantly talks about his wifes illness..his mothers dying wish..him having no money to continue on in life...living in the pinds of india..wife struggling to make ends meet...bla bla bla yaddi bla...comparing all that to vinits "gf" talk seems like childs play if you ask me...and if thats not sympathy vote...sue me..because i dont know what is..vinit talking about his gf...was a meer light hearted moment on the show..whether hes serious about telling you her name or not..is really upto him...nobody expects the crowd to be as stupid as retaliate agaisnt him as to why he didnt reveal the girls name during the last episode..i mean shut up already...HR hyped vinit..the technically correct way in terms of how the show was...and note: HYPING their chelas was actually something they were supposed to do.....ID hyped debo a totally different way...by staging walk outs and being biased in his mento meter votes towards all other participants...for gods sake....dont bring up phony ways of getting votes....i cant think of any other thing they marketted vinit with except the gf issue..and the topi thing doesnt count...again..please get your correct definiton of marketting...a TOPI is someones identity..like how himesh is known for his jean jacket and hat..nobody says "buy HRS cd because he wears a jean jacket and hat".....everything else was vinits voice...every actor..everyone who came on..praised vinit for his voice..kapil cried..after all was said and done people thru in the "hey vinit whos your gf"...it made no difference to anyones life..except for give the show a light moment...which for his age and todays time..was a correct way to make him shine not bright..but BRIGHTER..than he already shun from singing...big bollywood stars talk about their affairs all the time..which one of you are on their ass to get it out of them?.
