some people are bashing vinit; saying that he does
not have sportsmanship spirit. this is totally absurd. how can u compare
this with sport. in a sport the deciding factor is either scoring points or a
panel of qualified judges make the score based on your performance.
such as gymnastic or ice skating is scored by judges. those judges are
highly qualified. they are either former athelets or coaches. in sa re ga ma
ofcourse, the judges made scoring and if u were following the show from
the begining vinit always defeated debujit according to the scoring by
judges. but those scoring is not the deciding factor here as opposed to
sport. if u compare this with sport than vinit beat everyone. unfortunately
the deciding factor here is multiple voting by same person over and over.
if u have voted once, u expressed your views. u should give other people
a chance to vote and only then you will know the view of the majority. you
cannot call it a fair competition. this was an election; an unfair election;
because, even in an election one person cannot vote multiple times. from
the neutral zone very few votes came and vinit got majority of those
votes. but from one particular region people were spending all their
money, energy to vote as many times as they can just to see debujit win.
they actually over shadowed a majority view here. if each person was
allowed to vote only once, debujit would have been voted out already. the
sms and phone calls were for making money for corporations. it was not
for talent hunt purpose.
You are insane but here is my response again just to annoy you:
Debo and Vinit did not go head to head in the judges round. HR's rep
against Debo was Nanu.
I have no idea if the majority of Indians like Debo or Vinit or even care.
But as to this contest, all of these contestants signed up for these rules
and knew that they would have to win and lose by them. So when he lost
by the rules he signed up for, he should have gone up to Debo and
congratulated him. He did not and because he is a kid, we can excuse
him but we should not applaud him.
Vinit and HR together were masters at manipulating the system to get
votes while better singers like Sharib, Nihira, and Chandu just could not
execute on their good singing alone. So when I see Vinit fans crying over
the SYSTEM failing, I just want to laugh because you
see NO ONE benefited more from this public voting scheme/scam more
than Vinit and HR.
Only in SRGMP Challenege 2005 could a 16 year old guy find being short
an advantage. Poor Chandu (same age) should have walked on his knees
to be more sympathetic. As for technical merit. HR would not have dared
to add clicks to that Teesri Manzil song in front of Shiv Hari. Also all non
Vinit fans would agree that this guys was unfaily hyped over others.
As for Vinit getting green cards, I have thought a lot about this and note
the following:
No doubt that Vinit did well in Fame 2005 (even though he was beat by
Debo then judged by qualified people as you said). So I think that when
he had that gala kharab drama, the judges gave him the benefit of the
doubt, the same way Abhijeet got a pass from Alka based on his earlier
rep.
I can see Nihira's parents bemoaning the system but Vinit -- I think not.
