i never expected hema to win the contest, though he was the most deserving. i tthink its commendable that he even made it to the top 3. but i think the reson fo rhis ouster is ultimately votes. some ppl might have stopped voting after the walk out but even if they had continues voting, i'm sure it wouldn't be enough to make him the winner. hema disappointed me by taking part in the walk out but later i realized that since i did not know the whole story behind the scenes,it was best not to formulate any opinions on or based on the walkout.what he has gained from loosing the contest is worth more than what he would have won. SRGM is not b all and end all and i beleive hema has tremendous potential to be a successful playback singer.

i put in bold the most important part f/ your post, the part with which i wholeheartedly agree, to make sure everyone sees it..

yea, i did not expect hema to win (in the final two) against overhyped vinit either....ultimately, yes it is votes - and i think the walkout hurt hema's voting turnout more than it hurt anyone else. it is not just about people who stopped voting for hema.

i am 99% certain it would have been hema vs. vinit if the walkout (or any other such nonsense) had not happened (really should have been nihira vs. hema, or hema vs. debu....but these are all moot points now) ....bc whatever steam was brewing in the debu camp grew exponentially after that walkout. prior to all that drama, debo fans were just temporarily ticked off.... i do not expect that his over the top voting trend would have continued except that the walkout turned support for debo into a sort of mission. and debo gained new supporters, as well. debo's voting soared even higher. the hema fans that remained loyal to him could not compete. vinit's voter turnout did not suffer so much b/c all his overhyped status was keeping his votes up, though this tactic started to backfire...we'll see how it all works out in the end.

as for formulating opinions on the walkout, i am fully aware that there was stuff going on behind the scenes (as there always is w/ almost any situation). it did not look like hema's idea at all. but b/c i respect hema, i expected more f/ him. i do not care what happened behind the scenes....unless someone was holding a gun to hema's head, hema should not have given into something he did not want to do. (i do not find the conspiracy theories about them being threatened by terrorists to be at all credible.)

anyway, i am sure no one cares what about what i am saying so i will shut up now

plz guys it wasn't hemu's fault dat he was in da walk out he was forced 2 do dat from the mentors bcoz himesh n maybe adesh wanted to make ismail and da public agree dat nihira's elimination was not not injustice (as himesh said or maybe shouted in srgmp when da walkout was going on) da only reason 4 da walkout was to make people agree dat debo is not a gud singer n himesh n adesh r always against ismail........so dey just wanted da public to not support ismail n to say nihira's exit was justice aur waisi bhi sarey achey singers hi bachey they...........but i think vinit ya debo ko jana chahiye tha instead of nihira n u guys can c dat hemu was so uncomfortable.........n himani n vineet were only speaking n hemu was quite as dat he didn't want to take part in da walk but forced 2 do it.
BTW i agree hemu is such a talented singer he iz a winner in my eyes aur ussi ko jeetna chahiye tha 👏

P.S it's just my opinion plz guys don't get angry n i hope 2 c positive comments plzzzzz i wasn't against any1 in dis post 😊

I am sure the real high quality music directors like A.R. Rahman, SEL, M. M. Kreem and others will take note of his talent in future...

I don't think Hema faced any negative backlash for the walkout. Even though he was involved, it was clear from his body language and behaviour that he was really uncomfortable. I think he was backed in a corner, and made a poor decision. In his case, this was clearly an aberration...

i agree too he is a very good and versatile singer and it was clearly seen that he might have been forced into the wakout b/c he felt al uncomfortable...he couldn't even talk properly....

and yes many people in the south do not watch hindi channels....being one myself....but only some people do like me!!!

Amritha,

Good post.

I like to know why you thought that even though Hema was deserving you still did not expect him to win? IS it because at some point in time during contest you realized that contest was rigged?? I personally felt after Nihira's elimination that Hema will be next to be voted out.

I know on this forum there was a big hupla for 3 kids walk out and people made their judgements just by hearing some of it without watching the show. I never changed my opinion not because I condone walk out. People questioned these 3 kids walkout but were justifying Mentor's walk out. That was my reason for not changing my mind about Hema. I knew there was more to the story than what we saw on TV. It did not look like Hema wanted to be part of that walkout.

I totally agree on your last part of post. Hema will go alot further than any one gives him credit as long as he works hard, gets training in Hindi/Urdu and does not let anything get to his head. He has good foundation and I know he will succeed.

i agree with you 100% MrsPetLover!!!

uff ho.... i am not saying the walkout was hema's fault. i am saying it hurt him the most which is all the more reason why he should have stood up to the bas***ds (whoever was pressuring him) ....b/c as you can see, the walkout did not do him any good in the competition. it only turned debo's temporary surge of votes into a really diehard fanbase, making hema's chances of making it into finals pretty much null and void.

anyhow, hema is out of srgmp which i think is great for him b/c now he can move on to bigger and better things. i am still a fan of hema....

PEACE
