We are a group of music lovers from Dubai and are following this marvelous program from the very beginning when Sonu Nigam used to be the host. We always felt that this is a very genuine platform which not only has brought out the hidden talent of our youngsters but have also helped quite a significant number of contestants to build their career. But we are unable to stop ourselves from arriving at a conclusion that of late the sole purpose and motive of Gajendra singh and his team is to capture the maximum revenue from the SMS rather than respecting the sentiments of the viewers or that of the contestants.
Shaan, you are yourself a very outstanding singer and keeping one hand on your heart and the other towards God, do you agree with the decisions and the manner in which they are being arrived at? Do you think that music lovers from only one state are capable of judging and rest of India and Indians living abroad does not have the caliber to judge the ability of "Debojit". If the mechanism of judging the ability of contestants is designed the way it is now, and if the talented contestants like Nihira, Himani & now hemachandra have to leave the stage before someone else who is still there and who should have been out much before, the day is not very far when people will start considering SAREGAMAPA as an ordinary program with no distinction that it enjoys now.
The test of any person's ability in any field can only be and should only be carried out by the persons who are expert and well versed in that discipline else there will always be chaos and blunders that are happening now. As you can not judge the ability of say an atomic scientist, and vice versa, the method of judging for this prestigious challenge 2005 should definitely not have been left on the mercy of voters confined to a tiny territory of the country.
Shaan, this is the job of competent and out standing personalities from the field of music and it should be left to them. Quantity without quality is useless. If this is possible, please inform in your net program not only the total number of votes but also the total number of telephones from which these votes have been received.
There are reasonable apprehensions that even with in ASSAM, the votes are being managed from Silchar and adjoining areas and probably the rest 90% of the territory of ASSAM not voting at all. This can be easily investigated from the address of the telephones voting in favor of the candidate in question
If, as is evident, mentors are not happy, contestants are not satisfied and viewers are agonized, Shaan what is the rationale of your being there and conducting the program fully knowing that what ever you are announcing in terms of result is unfair.
Why should ZEE TV rely on the vote counts of a particular territory and ignore the rest of India?
After elections, even in our political system if there is booth capturing or rigging of elections, the Supreme court is there to seek justice from. In challenge 2005 mechanism where is the place to go for the aggrieved parties to seek justice. Shaan, immediately stop gang raping of viewers sentiments and put immediate efforts to restore the prestige of SAREGAMAPA which has eroded to a great extent due to entire team being silent spectator to brutal injustice being inflicted on the humble singers.
Dear Gajendraji, SAREGAMAPA is a golden hen which has constantly delivered an egg a day because of its tremendous reputation. Don't let it go down for the sake of SMS revenue because if character is lost everything is lost. You have successfully managed this program for so many years and are capable of finding out a way where injustice is not allowed. The way you have been successful in attracting the attention of masses through this program, it is your obligation to retain that too.
