This is one case where I didn't quite understand your logic!!!

Why do we have to go to II2 Forum to keep in touch after Challenge 2005?

Why can't we just stay on in this forum, just like the FG and II2 folks did in their "off-season"??

There will still be lots of stuff to talk about keeping track of the Challenge contestants...

and Saregamapa does not go off the air after Challenge... or does it ??

i would love to do that , but this will die down once srgmp finsihes..there will be only few hardcore readers like us will stick to it...

see , we will all come because there is an excitement , and between which we also get some very good non srgmp articles to read....there is a cause which is binding us all.. you are right when u say we can have ofseason discussion.. that anyways we can do...

i bet lot of people, write some good articles , because the reach is very high right now.. the audience is more....the amount of appreciation they get in return, encourages them to write more....imagine u gave a good article and u get only 4-5 responses..will that give u encouragement.........

so i proposed that.. the cause of indian idol will bind us..do let me know if u have an alternative...

By that time i will become even more wiser by reading all those interesting articles and knowing so many view points....... and dont worry, after that, i will come up with some more idea......i have learnt a lot by reading all those responses and articles and i dont want to miss this opportunity...

i am sure we will have enough masalas to talk about..and also i would request to every body to be very open in their opinions and try to be more reasonable in our thinkings.. the more we discuss, the more we get access to data, the more widening of our thinking and vision takes place.. i am sure after participating in all the sare ga ma forums lots of people must have changed a little in the way they think.. and i am sure the change is a postive one..........

will do GFTPs till i get consensus from every body...... Lets go to INDIAN IDOL 2.........we can join now so that we can build up a momentum and by the time SRGMP finsishes the battle ground will be ready.............

Well, I personally feel one should go to II2 forum only if they are interested in II. I always read there because I liked the singers in II1. But I have been extremely disappointed in II2. They voted out several good singers before the finals… and now the best singers are always getting the lowest votes (Meenal, Amey, Karunya last week). The mediocre and below-par singers are always safe. It almost looks to me like someone is sabotaging the show !!! (overstatement maybe… 😉 😆 . But though music quality on II2 is disappointing, the forum atmosphere is very friendly. (You have to be a Himani or Vinit fan to realize how hostile this forum can be...)

That aside, I think a lot of the true music fans will stick around here… because of the bond, addiction and habit as you pointed out… The action may not be as intense, but the potential for good discussions would be great…

Its actually up to the folks here… if they decide to stay, then that would be the best… (my opinion).

BTW, do you know what happens to SRGMP after Challenge?

I assumed it would go back to regular format, but I just realized that it may want to take a break…
