Debojit always wants Sympathy??

FRIENDS,

i would like to enlighten you that Debojit is not as innocently pure as he projects himself to be.

i have no favourites in this show and i am not biased towards anyone.

i have been observing this guy Debojit - he always seemed kind of insecure and always projected an image of himself which could create sympathy for him.
he might have gone through many troubles in life - i have gone thru too - but he seems to have got used to sympathy. he inherently seems to like sympathy.

i was always sick of his sympathy inducing snippets.

EVEN in the last show where he got highest votes, at his turn to sing a song - HE SAID HIS FATHER WAS ILL IN ASSAM and he was personally also feeling weak.

im not saying hes a criminal minded person, no, hes an artist. im an artist so i know. but this guy cannot do without sympathy - why does he always look for sympathy man??



AND MY FRIENDS, **PLEASE OBSERVE THIS**

whenever debojit loses his voice while singing, that means when he makes a mistake or something, just observe him and see what he does. he suddenly tries to over act and brings more expressions on his face while singing trying to cover up his mistake.
please please observe it.

Even while singing the long Qawali song when Siddhu was there, when he lost his voice, he immediately did an overaction to cover up his mistake or something, very childish - please download the video and watch it to know what im talking about.

this guy is not as INNOCENTLY PURE as U people think he is.

it makes me feel sick to personally analyse and talk about an artist like this. but damn thing is that lot of people just dont vote on pure singing performance reasons. most of ur votes are based on emotions, region, etc

some blindly vote for debojit as hes from assam. they spend hundred of rupees to vote.
They should allow only one vote per number, but money hungry show business people want more votes for more money.

and some vote for debojit for emotional reasons.
this post is mainly for this category people.

i REQUEST you to vote only based on singing performace - that too vote only Once - and if u cant decide which performance is better - DONT VOTE

pretty much the same as how Vinit and HR hype up the love thing and try to get people votes

Although you claim that your post is unbiased, I am sorry to say its completely biased. Regarding Debu's performance in the Qawali round, the only thing I have say to you is please listen to the original song and then give your opinions please.

i dont know at all if he sung that well or not. i have never ever listened to the original too.

i am saying that 'when he made a mistake in the song by losing voice or something' , please observe what he did. see the video. what he does is very childish - as if no one is onbserving he tries to cover it up with some over expressions in the next verse.
i am not judging his singing capacity in that song.


and i read this news article about DEBOJIT FORGIVING the other 3 - Sympathy again!!! hes gaining sympathy again.
just look at our forum users, they are falling flat for him 'oh what a great person debojit is!' 'what a true singer human being after rafi saab'
and they vote for him because of this emotion!!!
what a flawed voting system in the first place, cant blame the voters.

yes, please listen to the original song very carefully before you comment. Secondly, when you go off- key or off-note it is an involuntary reaction to do something but definately not to cover up or for sympathy -- not when you are in a TV show!! His actions proves that he knows when a mistake has occured and that is the foremost thing required of a musician. If you are performing and do not know when a mistake has occured then that could actually be the most excruciating thing for the performance.

PLEASEEEEEEEE refrain from suggesting in your post that you are merely giving your opinion ... and not being biased, because its apparent from the intial post to the second one, that you are against debo. You implied in your first post that you dont have any favourites etc ...

Very well you dont have any favourites, but why or what was the need for this post?? Surely if you were trying to raise the topic of someone singing off key ..etc, then in order for you to have an unbiased opinion, you should have used examples for the other 3 contestants .. then maybe there would be some honesty about your post.

Secondly, you suggest that we should listen and then vote and not vote for sympathy .. and if we couldnt decide etc, then we shouldnt vote ... im thinking you obviously dont understand the concept of COMPETITION! - Having more than one vote per person isnt anything dramatic, its fantastic, why restrict someone to only one vote? we're living in democracy not dictatorship .. if everyone is spending rupees, then let them, why are you complaining, its not like they are posting you their bills!!

Finally ... why are you suggesting people dont vote for debo? its not like he cant sing, he has a fantastic voice, infact the last 4 were brilliant, its a shame that there can only be one winner ... but for the 4 of them to be there till the end, proves that they are all capable, and dont forget, they are young etc, they have alot of learning to do ... so stop being soooo miserable, get a life and appreciate them, and im sure if you were in a similar situation and made a mistake in front of millions of people, you too would want to cover that mistake.

NEW DELHI: Zee TV's music talent hunt show 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2005' was in for some real-life drama with the contestants and the show's brand manager allegedly being threatened by Ulfa insurgents to favour a contestant from Assam.

We received complaints from three contestants that they were threatened by Ulfa militants to pull out in favour of Debojit, who hails from Assam, a Zee TV spokesperson said.

TOTALLY AGREE AND VERY WELL SAID. debo has lost his voice soo many times while singing and it sounds totally weird! not just in the qawali. i've heard the original and debo did not do full justice to it and i know it's very very hard to sing that song but he lost his voice for god's sake. it's not like the mentors just started to give him bad marks, IT'S BEEN CONSISTENTLY LOW!

Sharib, as did Ujjaini, as did Rajeev -- who am I missing here?

I did notice this tactic from Nihira and Hema but maybe they did it too
and I missed it.

Not that it takes away from his singing talent and separately, not that I
think it even wrong. Hema is talented and good looking and single.
Debo is married and older and I don't think he has idol looks (sorry
Debu's wife). So image is the good boy struggling to fulfill his mother's
dream, It is true so it works.
