Debu is the Best. He has the classical background and sings from his heart. He has a very good heart too, I must add. I think one day, with proper training and experience, he will come to the level of Kishore DA and we will get Jhum Jum Jhumrooo once again with the yooodling.

VS is not in the same frame of refernce to compare him with. The answer is Debu - hands down - no question in my mind

Deboo is the best and I would vote for him. At the same time I would go on voting for Hema too...

For all those people who want me to define music i want to say that i may not be knowing music till its very depth but the mentors doo they are not mad people if Adeshji and HR do not have the guts to speak the truth ismailji surely does and he is no idiot to give Vinit a 10 on 10 every time he goes up there and sings. What good will he get by telling lie.As far as Vinit singing easy songs Vinit has sung some of the most difficult songs which no Debo or Hema can sing listen to Parda and Tera jaadoo and Fiza then speak.Dont blame Vinit for HR's deeds. He is not to blame.

ALL VINIT VOTERS GUYS BUCK UP
LETS ROCK WITH VINIT
VOTE FOR VINIT

Vinit is a good singer. Debojit is an excellent singer. I don't really like Hema's voice, but he is an excellent singer too. He is more in the SP and Yesudas mode, but sings well. Debu, on the other hand, sounds like a pro. He should work on his diction though, if he wants to become a playback singer.

Vinit, inspite of what HR's tricks do for him, is a singer who has sung a few challenging songs really well. I would not put him down just because I don't like all the antics that HR does on his behalf. I look forward to his songs, because I know he will sing a popular song and sing it well. On the other hand, I watch Debu's performance with some trepidition, because there is always that one thing he misses, be it a note, a mis-pronounced word -- something that leaves you thinking he could have done better.

However, Himani is the most talented singer among them all. Just heard her rendition of "Jeeya dhadak.." and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan's rendition one after the other. Must say, she sounded a lot better. Maybe it was the better music that accompanied her, but I would buy her album any day. I think that should be the main yardstick of measuring these singers -- "Would I buy their album?". Imagine the plight of the Fame Gurukul's sponsors. They got non-singers like Qazi and Rooprekha to sell the albums with. I will not buy a CD with Qazi singing on it, because I did not watch the show to hear him sing but to see what he does next.

I think of the 4 left now, Vinit is already on his way to a good career, Hema will get a few playback singing gigs, Himani will succeed in off-beat albums and some playback singing, but Debu's fate really rests on this competition. He has no mentor coming out and saying I will give you a song. So, just to show that he is the voice that we like, we should vote for him.

he has destroyed his own future by leaving his job - it is not fate for God's sake... no mentor offered him song tells you how good a singer he is...

I would think that should be taken as a positive regarding him. He has belief in himself, so he took this step. His future is certainly not "destroyed". His misfortune is that he is from Ismail Darbar's gharaana, who may be a bit too impartial. ID has not offered any other singer any songs either, not even to Nihira, whom he regarded as the next Lata Mangeshkar. Also, ID may not have any films contracted right now, so he has not extended an offer.

That is why I said Vinit's career is made, because he is in HR's team, who really has the 25 films he has been talking about. He is also willing to experiment which suits Vinit just fine. HR is the only really successful music director among the 3 mentors right now. So even if you do not like it, Vinit is going to become successful.

As to Debu, he is already famous. I have not read anywhere in these forums that someone hates him. He is well liked, sings very well, has the depth and soul to carry any song, so his future is bright. If nothing else, he will be welcome to sing in any puja pandal during Durga Puja. After all Kumar Sanu and Abhijeet started there.

Debojit ....Listen to his Rim Jhim, Chatur naar, Jhumroo, Ae hawa tu shabnami, Mahi Ve and many more. What amazing voice modulation, I take the liberty to say that he has the potential to become a true successor to Kishore Kumar.

I have had several conversations with music guru's from classical music and others in an association which I am a part of , and they too feel that this guy has a very well trained voice and could do wonders as a hindi playback singer and they say same about Nihira and Hema (they say that Hema could do wonders in South Indian Raag based songs and such songs are rare in Bollywood Masala capes).

Hema, Debu & then Vinit. Thats the order of their talent. Hema with his great voice & ability to sing all songs makes a deserving first.
