I agree this was a joke in a bad taste, this was an utter disregard towards all the technitians of the industry, at least at the end they could have donated that money to movies technitians association. As per Vishal from being upset he should be out of the set.

That 'joke' was callous, insensitive, disgusting and in very bad taste. Why does Zee need to contrive such jokes when the whole show itself has become a joke?!

Yes they made fun of old technicians, played prank .

While actors (Rajnikanth charged 25 crores for Endhiran, Aishwarya 6 crores for same movie), the lower staff who actually are back bone of movie making are paid in nuts. Instrumentalists in orchestra was similarly paid lowly, making fun of them was a cruel joke.

Recently Shreya was in Kolkata to record a song for jeet Ganguly and she has been paid Rs 35 000 only, you can understand what money must be paid to flautist, guitarist etc.
