Subhash ghai's new movie also marked a paradigm shift in his style of music. the film bombed, but kisna's music retain's the subhash ghai's magical touch.
And SS takes a giant leap as a singer here. the track can be called a simple, but Ismail durbar's composition is not as simple as it sounds. A mix of classical and modern touch plus his use of chorus at correct time intervals gives a refreshing touch to what is a retro themed track.
SS doesn't go overboard here, he adopts his voice in such a manner that given the roller coaster like tempo this track has, his high notes are one scale typically less than his usual voice. A good thing. And his new approach works wonders. His expressions too reek of quality and the tonal clarity fits this track requirements to the T. Towards the end, there is some minor sloppiness but not a cause of worry, its disguised well and the track too gets a nice ending.
Another highpoint-his swinging voice modulation which syncs well with the musical tone played at the background, too gels well with the overall genre of the track.
Subhash Ghai at his quality work, again.

Nice, up-beat track, I like the power in it.. :)

Sukhwinder begins with immediate presence of his energetic voice.. There is precise clarity to be observed in his singing here, each word is quite clear.. Expressions are nice, through I did feel that they should have been more delicately handled and not just superficial.. Doesn't create a huge momentous impact, but still a really good performance..

Would like to give an 8 out of 10..

Very good singing by Sukhwinder ji, but nothing extraordinary. His sur was spot on, his pitching was a little askew but was OK overall. Now, the main part is the feelings, which IMHO, sounded a little forced, and not fully there. He could've done much better. Also I felt the lady singer and the group singing kinda overshadowed him!

Finally a good song to display Sukhwinder Singh's great singing ability. Great energy brung to this song, and strong holds throughout the song for Sukhwinder Singh, the harkats he adds to the song can't be matched by anyone. The way he sung this song nobody else could've. He always adds a magical touch to a song. And especially in teaming with AR Rehman. Great job.
