No the raagas, like the durga raagini, it's more apt for a female voice rather than a male voice. Yes, that; the first lesson we learnt, even if there is a group performance(not "performance":😆) , the other singers follow the lead singer, they never sing at once.Originally posted by: Emptiness
when you say that raagas a female oriented, what do you mean?.. are you referring to raginis?... you're right, Hindustani music doesn't have harmonies, it mostly consists of a single voice.. so you'll be "performing" on your own 🤣
