Hmmm.. a very popular track of its time..

He goes well along with the tempo of the song. Passion is a definite requirement for this song. Though, I did feel that in places, that the expressions could have been more enhanced keeping in mind the tune, situation and lyrics of the song. The echoing effect is a nice add up. Here and there, he the voice did sound awkward. Would like to add that Shreya did her part really well. But, overall, an okay performance..

Would give a 6 out of 10..

Without getting into singer's quality, I must admit I like this song..Dont know whether it has the mettle to win Filmfare award or not, errr who believes in awards these days...🤔

Well, this is not a normal song. It's tailor-made for Himesh's own singing. So, nasality is not an issue here and I can't take any drastic step on grounds of that. In olden days nasal singing was not a no-no, but rather it was the convention. I don't like the style in general though.

Having his first crack at film singing, his passion is palpable here. I think he was fairly successful in doing what he intended. But the question is whether I'm pleased with what he intended to do. Yes, there are some interesting parts in the song for me. But, his "ooooonnn" and a couple of other parts are bizarre and hard to stand.

It's somewhere around 6.5.
