Number of albums/singles sold, is completely irrelevant in evaluating a singer's capabilities, any besura can be made to sound surila in the studio 🤪.... live singing is the real acid test for a singer, and Himesh is quite frankly... poor 😆

😆...Short term memory loss?, flick back to the the initial few pages, where you based singing talent on the success and popularity of songs, I just applied your criteria to Daler 😛... let's shed the popularity/success, and judge solely on singing alone 😊

I really don't think it was a big issue. A singer's voice can always be removed if the director thinks it doesn't fit. It has happened in the past, too. Even scenes of the actors get chopped during editing. The matter is in court and it will be solved.

The director of the movie asked Shankar to remove it. Not Shankar himself. And no where in what you posted does Shankar say Daler didn't sing well. Sorry, very poor attempt at a proof. Waise Daler sang for RDB. Why do you think Rahman would keep him. You think he doesn't know who a good singer is?
