Whats With Himesh ???

I really think he s got a attitude problem .. just cos vineet is his fav it doesnt mean that vineet sings completly flawless. . when vineet sang aaja aaja Himesh looked stupid trying praise vineet with so many words like " superb' brilliant ; n blah when it clearly wasnt vineets best performance.

and giving him songs from his movies i think thats a very unfair thing. there shud have been a rule or something that the contestants remain 100 per cent committted to the show till it ends without doing playback singing for movies .. cos when one contestant like vineet gets special offers from himesh to get more popular while voting is in public hands ita an unfair advantage for vineet over other contestants to get public support.

all contestants shud be equal at the time of the contest i think .. after that if himesh gives him songd from his movies its completly okay. .
vineet is a fantastic singer no coubt and a very nice person .. but himesh acts as if nothing can be better that vineet just cos hmesh is his guru. he cud have some modesty . thats what i think .. he' after all pretty new in the scene himself compared to the other gurus

anyway it s just my view. maybe some of u dont think so .. sorry if what i wrote dont make much sense i wrote in a rush and didnt think of putting it more nicely .. 😛

There is a quite a strong hierarchy in film/music industry, AS is quite senior to HR.
Now with everyday we are seeing who is what.
ID seems to be a crude but very genuine person by heart.
the kind of infighting that has taken place amongst mentors, I seriously doubt next time music directors would agree to come on SRGMP 2006.
from their perspective it is time consuming & hurting their relation with each other.

I agree. HS was very forceful in getting his message across and this show is not being show in India only but to so many other parts of the world.

What would they think of the mentors arguing with one another for all the public to view and give their opinions based on what they saw on TV.

They could have been more dipolmatic in airing their views and AS should not have carried on singing drowning out what HS had to say. HS should have left things as they are instead of praising Vinit for his performance and making it look that all the other contestants could not have done a good job as vinit did.

These are my views and I hope I am not offending anyone by saying how I feel.

I agree with PinkPixie. Himesh began very well as a mentor and I used to think that he was level headed, always used to make fair comments, always used to encourage the competitors. But of late, I have found him to be quite impatient, very doggish about Vinit and his sense of judgment appeared clouded. Last week, he was giving away the least number of points to rival participants, and perhaps even in the week prior.
I also agree that while all participants deserve encouragement, such public announcements about singing assignments can be deferred until the end of the competition. It takes away the spirit when one contestant gets more mileage than others. The competition should be on fair ground.
Having said that, its perhaps the occasional unfairness of the mentors, their rawness, and confrontations that makes the show quite fun to watch. So I don't know... if the mentors should receive lessons in etiquette and start behaving like gentlemen the show may lose some of its colour.

cmmon, if HR believes so much in vinit and is showering songs on him, why shud anyone be unhappy. he is only doing good to someone!! and he is not a fool that he will risk his career and his reputation just to be one-up amongst fellow mentors by giving vinit songs if he did not deserve them. he knows vinit's capabilities and thats why he has been so keen with him.

His giving offers to Vinit & all really sucks..he shoudl have give that before...

also before vinit sings he go & gave him hat...whts all this masalas??? why they r doing this...he gave only 7 to Nihira why that so while otehrs gave 9 to her,,,,

he also gave very less to others....hema debojit himani & all....

Somethign is going on & his dressing style too changes nw; acting as cool dude & hungry to make Vint as champion; I also see he is also praisng Paresh too much that telling that paresh will be super star of tomorrow...& also ujjaini too...

He should avoid thsi masalas & all...Earlier too He gave much imprtance to Aishwarya issue & get audience support...The interesting thsi is he avoided Vishwas & gave a chance to paresh who was teh one who replaced aiswarya that time....he also know that paresh will get more votes becos of hsi X factor....

So last days some comemnts shows very biased; I think it started after Adesh telling bad abt Vinit;...

Anyways we lost teh old himesh I think who is very good on all people & tell only true comemnts,,,,

Today's himesh is biased & alwasy say comemnts to vinit liek tumhen jeetna hai tumhare maa ke liye...seems liek all otehrs dont have mom & all otehr students mom dont wish to their son or daughter to win....

on of teh otehr reaosn for Vnit's popularity is his comemnts like when he wish to buy a gita mom bought a guitar for him by taking teh current bill...& also he said still that money didnt pay yet & it grow a huge amount...doest that mean he dont have electricity till nw...If his motehr nto able to pay that current bill yet I dont think she can pay teh future current bill too....

Anyways that already touched people heart & tahts teh reason who is in top nw...I agree that he is good singer but I dont like his voice personally becoz he is 17 only...not a hard voice like hema not matured one & i donno why himesh saying that his voice suits for all young actors...I donno hw....I agree he got a very god gift but still am nto able to digest his voice comapring to otehr voices in that show....

In that case I think paresh is much betetr tahn him...eventhough he is from UK he is abel to sing very well even debojit & hema too...

I agree with you 100%. Vineet is being overpopularized by HR. In the last episode, when AS pointed out the fallacy about the track, HR jumps up and says Vineet, I gave u one song, now u will sing two songs in my movie. Other mentors are also giving breaks to their contestants but not being overly partial to any and demoralizing the balance of the singers by being too vocal. I persoanlly feel that HR is a bit of misfit in the league of the other 3 music directors, as he is relatively new, and his music composition by contemporary standard may be succesful, but he certainly does not have the experience and range of the likes of AS, JL, ID, Anu Malik so to speak.

I think what has bugged him dearly is the fact that he lost most of his contestants early on. Had he focused on providing the right sort of training and guidance to his contestants, that could have been avoided. He has not been able to churn out the quality of participants that ID, AS and even JL have. The judges have been fair and hail from very distingusihed backgrounds, so HR has no one to blame except himself. He is now desperate to make Vineet win so that it goes as one up on his sleeve.
