😆Yeah, they should chuck that "common" out of "common sense". It's indeed not common ;)
What do you mean though? How does common sense help in flawless reasoning? Deep and profound thinkers, especially the ones always finding faults with things, will find flaws anyways, common sense or not.😆

Well, I got no idea what to say. I believe in that person in the sense that I believe that he/she is trustworthy enough for me to confide in to, it's cool to have that person as my buddy, someone who I can always count on. Like, all those times when I had xyz problems, it was cool I could go talk to him/her about it and then I'd always feel better about things afterward. However, that person doesn't think the same about me and I don't know what it takes for that to happen. I hope that made sense. :/

That was rather light, eh?😆

Made perfect sense. He/she doesn't have confidence in your problem-solving skills, is what you are getting at.

Tell you what, Mister. K, never mind😆....It's not my problem-solving skills....It's something else.

On a lighter note, I remember you from those days when you used to act like an angry young man always criticizing Ginger/obj. I remember the mayhem you had created once with your crossroadsjoe ID😆.

I did much more than that. Suffice it to say, I am not proud of any of that. But there are no promises that I won't revert back to that behavior (and get banned!).

Bechara Raj...he's a good guy (I think!)
I am beginning to wonder if you were one of my victims, the way you are keeping a file on me.

Oh! First you got to cover science as much as possible before applying logic to see where the discussion leads.
There's a subtle difference between whether something has energy as opposed to whether something is energy.
Just as an example, fossil fuel (inanimate matter) has energy which we use by converting it into oil and gas and a bunch of other byproducts.

We have to add spark to that energy to actually kick in the process of burning that fuel. That fuel, by itself, won't do any good in a productive way. This brings us back to what IS energy and which forms HAS energy and what good just "having" energy do if the form that has it is not evolved enough to use that energy productively.
I would like to explore this topic more on a religious/spiritual level than scientific. That said, I do have the basics of science. It's just the complex interpretations that confuse me. Like equating matter to energy when the equation has other two factors apart from matter.

Hopefully the thread supposed to be "fun" is getting its edge back...? or not. It actually depends on your opinion fun. To me, fun lies in light conversations. Not the forced ones where you're tryin to "win" an argument with your heavy talks. Just a casual convo, you know? No offense to anyone whatsoever ;)

Anyways, gotta go, cya :)

Raj is an amazing person. Wonder where he is these days.
I wasn't really your victim....😆.....Just a foe turned friend I guess ;)

If I just sit in one place, without moving a muscle, I am not spending any energy. Doesn't mean, I don't have it. Similarly, if a rock is just sitting there, it doesn't mean it doesn't have energy. Trees, plants, dead animals (including humans if buried) all turn into energy sources (fossil fuel) over a period of time whose energy is usable but not renewable because once consumed, it turns into heat which dissipates into the atmosphere. Even then, that energy is still there, expcept it's so diluted, we can't reuse it any longer.
Phrases and terms like "What good is it"? "Productivity"? "Gain"? "Loss" is stuff that only humans are bothered about towards achieving a goal. Humans have goals for reasons best known to them. That shouldn't mean, we start thinking that we are the center of the universe and everything revolves around us.
You will be surpirsed to know how much energy you have (or the tree infront of your house has) when you actually multiply your mass with the speed of light in vacuum, squared. Go ahead and do it.
Why can't you use all that energy? Because, it in turn takes energy to burn energy.
Eeven a spark doesn't do anything on its own unless someone lights it. A catalyst. Where did that catalyst get it's energy? If it's a human, by eating food. If it's a match stick, then the atoms making up the head of the stick have stored energy.
It helps me always go to the source for every single thing to get a better understanding.
