On Youtube, Swarit is the most popular contestant, as his videos has the most views, and on second place is Yatharth and the third is Shreyasi.

Youtube is a good scale in determining the popularity of the contestant, and this was visible in the previous contests as well, and this year we have got Swarit and Yatharth videos having the most views.

You are wrong somebody else did a detailed study of this and swarit was no-where in picture. priyanka, Yatharth, Shreyasi, Abhigyan and Abhijeet were top 5 acc to youtube views. i wil revive that topic.

I'm not sure if Youtube is known for its refined and exquisite in music and arts. If I am not mistaken this is the land where Keyboard cat is a musical genius and you become famous by crying under a blanket about Britney Spears. If Swarit wins he can post infinite videos on youtube. He deserves it na. 😃

old songs mein kya hua tera wada has the most views totally (not individually) on youtube, but everyone knows it is a ghatiya song :P

Statistics need to be interpreted correctly. As per Youtube, Mauli Dave is more popular than Mohd Rafi, Manna Dey, Kishore Kumar etc (search on youtube and sort by viewcount). Statistics need to be interpreted in the proper context. For example the view count is distributed over how many videos etc. Also there are many other factors. In this case this shows only Zee Tv channels video count. Not total Youtube.
