Yatharth has something in his voice which attract same way Priyanka does but now his negatives are overcoming his positives. Abhijeet is consistent like Shreyasi. I can keep Abhijeet and Yatharth at same levele right now considering everything.
You know one thing, Swarit was very good and technically correct on Friday, and also added necessary harkatein but we already prepared our mindset and we give him low rating for even good performance.

well yes he has more "talent" but his yodelling style is sometimes irrtating imo

Over all, Yathart singing has taken downward turn in last copule of weeks. Actually almost every singers are getting exposed as competition is going deeper rounds. I feel Abhijeet Srivastava is highly underrated.

You are right. I have opened a thread on that topic some time back.

I agree with alka there ! It sounds nice and can weave some magic actually when he uses it without overdoing it ! It his originality and should be supported rather than be asked to removed.

Whats your opinion?

It's a form of bathroom singing, trying to use one's head (actually, the oral and nasal cavities) as an echo chamber to enhance the depth and gravity of one's voice. Like when someone with a boy's voice tries to sound like Kishore Kumar -- in the bathroom, of course..

It's unnatural, forced and annoying. And it's a bad mannerism to pick up at this age, when one is not yet a complete singer. In short, it's ghatiya singing, and should not be encouraged or rewarded.

All of the foregoing, however, applies to a music show.

In the current travesty -- why didn't they just ship in a truckload of monkeys instead to entertain the average Indian TV watcher? -- anything goes.

Yatharth's Ae Ajnabee was labored (e.g. he swallowed the end of the gentle lilting descent of "ji rahi hai..."), a pity for such a haunting number.

An interesting thought experiment: how would Yatharth have fared with Aoge Jab Tum O Saajana, and Yashodhan with Ae Ajnabee?

Song selection can be critical. Yatharth is getting crowd-pleasing numbers to sing, which is to his advantage.

Yatharth is popular and may do well in public voting.

He is quite charasmatic too. Abhijeet is definitely more solid in his foundation and has won before too; but Yatharth has a lot of supporters and has been very entertaining. this could tip the scale. the Judges too are fully behind Yatharth it seems.

Yatharth needs to remember that he is 12 yrs young and must try singing close to original first b4 improvising it....Nothing wrong in trying to make it your own...Limitations-boundires must be observed...😃

I agree with u. he sometines seems to be a bit over confident, on Friday's episode Shaan taunted him to be a good composer as well, as he tries to modify songs on his own, which somestimes irritates. excess of everything is bad aftr all šŸ˜†

Right now he is the one in front in the eyes of the Judges.

Public may also be with him as he has a nice personality and has the X Factor.
