Do you think Afsa is old enough to be a host? - Page 2

If both these kids continue (if at all) then this programmes will loose its audiences. This competition is surely of international level and we do not need little kids anchoring the show and baffling the contestants. Maybe they are cute andhumorous, but the humour has its limitations. Hope they change the hosts asap.

I do not like both the children. They are fed lines to say thr' their ear piece. THey are extremely annoying and adorable at all. THey look like puppets. I also do not like this "girls vs boys" theme that they keep trying to push. They should have made two groups with 3 girls and 3 boys. They way they have made the groups, you know that one from each team willbe in the finals which will compromise getting the best singers to the finals. The singers are good this time, but because of the hosts I dont think I will be watching this show. I will be recording it tha watching just the singing. I am not very crazy about Alka too. THe stuff she find funny is not what I find funny at all.

LOL serious? were they really fed lines through their earpiece? i thought it was more of a mike and the ear was just to keep it in place :S

and yeah the girls vs boys thing is damn annoying.
so are the outfits. did anyone see what afsha was wearing on friday's episode? what the hell was that. there were like 5 layers of ruffly skirts which overwhelmed her small frame. What was the stylist thinking?

i agree with all of you guys......... i am not really enjoying watching this show now because of two things............ first is the anchors,,,,,,,,pls get the right anchors, ofcourse they are cute but this is not the right time for them and will be loosing audiances if that goes like this with this little kids. and the second one is ,,,,,,,,please............please.............. boys and girls thing is too too too anoying...........please don't put that one....................otherwise i really enjoy the singing. all the kids are fantastic...................

Afsha was cute in the auditions. I absolutely loved her, but when she was hosting, it got a little annoying after a while. Because she screams at you. What I'm worried about though is how they're going to take it when good kids start sobbing when they are eliminated (which of course is bound to happen), or if one of Afsha's friends is out. How will they take it?

So is the whole point of this girls vs. boys thing just because they picked six of each. Because it seems beyond that the show is going to carry on like it would have normally. Dumb concept now. I would have liked it if they had just been doing the girls picked one winner, the boys picked their winner and then had them battling it out.

Yes agree with Summer. However the little ive seen of Afsa and Dariya i must say there doing a good job, they are kids after all. i personally would like to see them both co-hosting alongside Asma, i think they wud have great chemistry together.

It's good to see Dairya talking instead of crying for a change! Gees!! I cant take either one anymore!!! Two episodes and a bottle of Advil for 2 days - it drove me crazy!! I loved that Afsha kid in the audition with Alka (not the Abhijeet part which was scripted), and she had the charm of her innocence then!! Now she looks like a little miss muffet with a nanima glasses who is controlled by the strings of some scripts!!! And the boys versus girls is so annoying!!! All the kids this season are so good so far and the channel made a stupid mistake by making two kids host it and annoy the hell out of viewers!! Things coming out of tiny mouths are not funny all the time, no matter how funny the script writer thought it would be!!

Akanna remember u can't fault the two kids there doing an okay job, however i do agree with u about afsa talk being scripted doesn't seem natural as with Alka Yagnik. Its zee at fault they just want to save money and increase trps at same time. i do hope they bring in a proper host

Yes Bazy, from that perspective (that they are little kids), they are doing a good job - I always agree on that. But it has become a hard test on my patience level now!! I dont get the cost cutting part here! They have to pay more only if they are getting a celebrity, na? That way they have to pay Dairya too, as he is a little celebrity now! And as Afsha says, 'audition ke badh mein famous ho gayi'!! So she will be paid too, as I dont think her parents will take a free deal from Zee. Why not get someone who is matured but has no fame but good hosting skills and give them the role! Many hosts started that way with different channels...
