Alka and Abhijeet in DID!!

Guys both Alka and Abhijeet came in Dance India Dance to promote Lil Champs.

Well since the competition this year will be boys vs. girl. Both Alka and Abhijeet sang songs to compete against one another. And they were all songs with remixed lyrics, they were very good. 👏

And thye said there are 52 contestants selected, and from those 6 boys and 6 girls would be chosen. And both Abhijeet and Alka as well as a special selection jury which they did not reveal, would help them to get the show down to 12 contestants.
And Abhijeet said, this year they had very taleneted kids!

there will be 2 winners? I don't think so...otherwise it wouldn't be girls vs. boys. there will only be one winner....but one finalist will be a girl and one will be a boy (I think). this just means that they will put more stress on the gender of the contestants and have more drama related to that.😕 and when the concept has so much drama itself...imagine what heights someone like Abhijeet will take it to.😕😕😕 there shouldn't be such drama in a kids' show....what does it teach them? shouldn't kids be taught that girls and boys are equal?
and also this means that the judges will be showing a bias towards their gender. and if the finals are between 1 girl and 1 boy then it's not fair. what if 2 boys are the best or 2 girls are the best?
I like the old SRGM format though...in which one girl and one boy used to win and there was no competition between the genders.

I still don't get it...when did they say there will be 2 winners? cuz in the video Alka and Abhi are fighting where Alka is saying "is saal ladki hi jeetegi" and Abhi is saying ladka...
I actually don't mind their funny nok-jhok....like the wig thingy in LC1 and the rakhi thingy in VOI1 was hillarious! but I don't like when Abhi gets nasty like with Bappida and while talking about Atif etc.😆
btw...I wonder who is in this jury which they are not revealing...hopefully there is a certain member from last year's jury😳😆

ya I hope the jury is good, and not disappointing. I guess it would be something like the starting of SRGMP 2009 had, where Asha jee, Kavita and others came to eliminates contestants. ya maybe we will see sonu😆

i think its all because girls tend to win children's singing competitions, because at that age, their voices are way more mature than the little boys. Obviously that is no fault of the boys as their voices change drastically. but i think this is stupid.
