Agree 100% with shez, i mean Gur what's the point of having host's on a singing show that can't sing, i think it would defeat the purpose of the host then remember Adi always did a performance to kick off the show, that wouldn't be the case if hosts couldn't sing plus Adi used to give proper encouragement to participants bcoz he understood what music and singing were about again that would not be the case if they selected hosts that couldn't sing 😃

I think they'd make great hosts. =]

Jai & Soumya are good host but dunno if they would be good for singing show....Than again host is not judging...so no big deal ....Jay needs to take some classes in improving his hindi diction and than he be great...😃

IMO - Hosts should know hosting not singing. We do need someone with charming personality who can bind contestants/public/judges and take care of proceedings.

BTW - Seeing few promos can very well guess this show is again routed to 80% melodrama and 20% singing😉 . We need a non melodramic enhancing host, someone who asks sensible questions and expertly steers away from potential controversies. 😆😆 TRP ka kya hoga Anshu??? am again day dreaming, pardon me😆.

yes, but they should still have some musical background otherwise they make the dramatic show even more unmusical.
I don't consider Adi a good singer but I liked how he was able to contribute to the show musically...like if someone sang his father's song he would tell a story related to his father and the song...or if someone sang a song and the composer/singer of the original song was present as a judge he would mention that.

And of course Sonu and Shaan did this job waaaaayyyyyyy better than Adi. Plus, it was always a bonus seeing them perform live at the start and end of each show. (Adi just danced to pre-recorded songs😕)
