Most singers have some unbelievable performances and some which are Super hits and Hits. They all have their "comfort" zones where they are very strong. Wrong song selection can cause a singer to lose.
Kaushik is also one example, a good singer suddenly losing it, but he too had some unbelievable performances.

His higness thinks that shoumen is going for a playback bollywood carrier and among that competiiton he is nothing extra ordinary.

overall a so so singer.

competiton in playback category is tough

I am not Soumen fan but I do love his voice....He has really great potential....Good kiddo....Very pleasant personality and smile on his face always...

yes Kingji there seems to be some congestion in playback singing. A playback singer needs the blessings of the Music Directors to progress. Even Great singers have gone through periods of famine.

Not many are able to come up with good compositions themselves.

Fortunately Road Shows and Live Performances are lucrative .

Yes I have no problems with anyone who performs well reaching the tops.

Sometimes due to nervousness they do have problems in performing ( I do not know to what extent).
