Recently, someone has started a forum using our name, on the .net domain. They had copied everything off India-Forums.com, right from our tickers, to the format, the style of home page, arrangement of sections etc. One of our alert members spotted it and reported it. The matter was promptly attended to by our India Forums Techie and we got the other site to remove our logo, the ticker and other stuff which made it appear as if it were our own site.

Friends, it is only thanks to your cooperation and continued support that India-Forums.com has grown to these heights and it is your valuable support which will take us to greater heights.

Please join us in thwarting such unscrupulous sites from misrepresenting themselves to be a part of us, from coercing our members to join them, on pretext of being a part of us.

people are such looooooosers.. you know what I only registered at the .net address thinking it is another part of india-forums.com... gosh... and actually I got the link from this forum itself..

there were some stupid rules hahaha like "

plzz design some banners for this site animated or non animated winner becomes moderator of this site"

etc.

thanx 4 da info!as i got a om as well but i knew it was totally not vijay and knew it was sum1 who wanted 2 join another site.no place is better then the orginal IF.
