I understand your point but you also know that many of the ratings received on the Chaskmeter is irrespective of the story line and whether the audience is liking it or not. Fans for the show just to see the show on #1 spot on the ChaskaMeter will give it 5stars in the Chaska meter.

Vijay, if you continue with this new chaska meter format you will lose a lot of active forum members!

GEET has a lot of fans worldwide and that popularity should be taken into consideration!

I can't help with the TRPS as I'm from Canada but I still love watching GEET!!

If GEET was on Starplus it would have higher TRPS as Starplus reaches more people!!

i really think rating chaskameter on the basis of trps is not a good idea..
as we all know starplus and zee are more popular channels...
lot of cable operators do not even air star one...
but we fans come on IF and be loyal to the shows we watch..
this was one system away frm the pangs of trp...and we hear that you too are planning to bring it in the rating system..
as an ardent fan of a show on not a mainstream channel i kindly request you ro keep trps away frm IF ratings...

Industry already has an unreliable TRP system to know the pulse of average TV viewers, what we lack is a medium to know the online ranking!! Instead of taking data from an already unreliable source, why dont you provide some otherwise unknown useful information to the industry i.e how popular is the show to online viewers?

Btw Vijay sir .. if you decide to include TRPs .. then heh .. that's the joke of the century. TRPs ... according to me .. DO NOT. . I repeat . DO NOT determine a show's popularity.

You wanna noe why?

GHSP is and was a seriously popular show .. it received the most TRPs on Star One once upon a time .. but it still didn't match up to the TRPs that shows on Star Plus receive just because the channel itself doesn't reach the vast number of people that channels like Star Plus/Zee are able to reach. So including TRPs will just see the downfall of this website. Because as I know it even the crappiest shows on other channels receive high TRPs just because it has such a good reach to a large audience unlike shows on Star One which most people watch .. especially those not in India.

Just thought of letting you know.

If rankings are to be decided by GRPs and TRPs, I dont think any of star one shows,or that of other smaller channels stand any chance... I know everyone would rate 5 stars coz all want to see their respective shows at top... But this applies to ALL shows... Maybe its better to do away with chaskameter,if that's the issue, and just take into account online activity...

And aren't TRPs, GRPs there for serious rankings based on net reach?? IF is about the online popularity of the shows and its ranking should reflect the most popular shows on its website...
