Thanks for the chamchak update!
Woo what an epi! It was very power-packed, and fast-paced, and for me at any rate all the characters were back on top form.
Tiwari's were out to con and destroy Indu as usual, unaware of the fact that he already knew their true faces. Oddly the as the mere sight of Saru and co didn't (as some of us thought!) set Indu on a murderous rampage.
He has indeed appeared to have mellowed somewhat, and now has a better control over his anger and violent nature. I actually think that public stoning and jail time did Indu some good, as he has finally realized there are some situations he can't fight his way out off.
I'm glad that they showed Indu not being too gullible, he knows Saru is untrustworthy and is wary about him, but still I don't think he has worked out that Saru plans to use Sanchi to get at him. Also it was nice to see that his boys too were worried and on the ball about Saru's intentions.
What I am wondering though is why Indu is worried about Saru's next step against him? He could have just told Saru 'I know that you too schemed against me, so as of today me and you are finished. I am nothing to you, and you are nothing to me'. Hmm I think CV's just wanted Indu to be living with Saru when Sanchi with her bag in hand comes to stay with him.
Coming to Sanchi well... sheesh I could bash her character for the rest of the week quite happily after today's epi! But in her defense I will say that she is right to still be absolutely furious at Indu. That boy kidnapped her, threated to kill her father if she didn't marry him, his minions actually held a knife to her beloved pa's throat, and then after all that hungama, he ditched her before the ink was even dry on their marriage certificate!
Now if I was in Sanchi's shoes I would still be hopping mad and the possibility of forgiveness and living happily ever after with such a man would be a damn longshot!
Plus also she is right again on her stance about Indu's involvement in Shweta kand. She didn't see Indu devastated and shocked at finding an attacked Shweta. She didn't see him damning all consequences to himself or his career as he rushed her to the hospital. She didn't see his guilt and concern over the fact that he might be responsible for her condition. And again she didn't hear him admit that 'he would never forgive himself' if anything happened to Shweta.
All Sanchi saw and heard was Indu cruelly keeping Shweta locked up, taunting her about his kidnapping of Shweta, and then constantly ranting about how he wanted revenge on DS for betraying him. So why wouldn't she think he was still a selfish egotistical ass?!
Also I know a lot of people think she is being out of character atm, but for me at least she has never been truer to her core self. Sanchi has always been a manipulative, cunning, and demanding minx. For example look at her treatment of Mannu. After his first declaration of love towards her, she took great pleasure in calling him 'abhimannu bhayia' everytime they spoke, and giggled with Mahek over his reaction. Yet whenever she needs something from him the 'bhayia' title mysteriously disappears.
Also she knows exactly what buttons to push on Indu to enrage, provoke and hurt him. What she hasn't yet learned is how much she affects Indu. She can't comprehend why or even how he can react so passionately and crazy over her actions. Every freaking time she underestimates the depths of his emotions. Sigh, she will only realize when she herself falls in love and experiences the pain and despair of a broken heart.
Sanchi is also a true alpha female, and as thus is attracted and attached to power. Sanchi is somewhat drawn to Indu as he excludes raw power, but unlike others who want to bask in or use his power, she craves to make it her own. Nothing in life will give her greater pleasure than to wrestle Indu's 'power' from him, then use it to dominate him
Plus Sanchi has never made no bones about the fact that she wants to be famous and known city-wide as a force to be reckoned with. She wants people to look at her with awe and respect, heck along time ago she even she said that she would make Indu salute her as she walked past!
Sanchi has a huge ego problem, just like Indu, and both of them have this whole 'how dare he/she do this to me' attitude. Both of them feel that they are superior to the others, and thus should be acknowledged as so. Though to be fair to Indu he sometimes does defer to Sanchi as he believes that she is better than him, whilst sanchi only turns to Indu as she expects him to jump at her command.
I really can't blame Shewta for supporting Sanchi over Indu as he did kidnap and treat her rather badly. But the fact that Sanchi in turn happily took the entire credit for exposing DS was so bad...chee chee Indu was the one who actually masterminded the whole ploy! But again Sanchi's thinks this was her due as her motives were more 'pure' than Indu's for exposing DS.
Lol yet I don't know where she gets off thinking that her reasons for contesting Indu in elections are more 'pure'! She's doing it for revenge and to satisfy her damn ego and desire for power, whilst Indu is doing to further his career.
She's being mean and spiteful whilst Indu is for once attempting to do something worthwhile with his life. Yet by challenging him, she is slowly poisoning his one worthwhile deed. I really wanted to smack her when Indu laid his heart bare to her and, all she could do was smile with smug satisfaction over the fact thats she still holds him in her thrall.
Poor Indu even told her earnestly 'just ask me once as my wife and I will withdraw my nomination for you', but alas he had the right sentiments but the wrong words. Sanchi Mathur does not ask for anything, she just takes it. Whether by force or guile, Sanchi will get whatever she wants, and whatever she believes to be her right. And to all those who don't think she is worthy, well Sanchi really doesn't care less what anyone else thinks of her. Lol does this sound like anyone else we know?! Hint - Sanchi's married to him!
So again like a lot of people I think Sanchi has gone powermad and is therefore continuing to participate in elections. I would respect and give her more credit if it was shown that she was actually doing some constructive to get rid of Indu. I mean if it was shown that she had approached Indu with an offer/request of divorce, and he had denied it, then it was more understandable that she wanted the class president role as a bargaining tool to get him to give her want she wanted.
But no, Sanchi wants her cake and wants to eat the whole damn thing herself too!
Mind you, did anyone notice how defensive she was when Indu brought up their time in the jungle?! Why was she so mad and defensive? Lol whether she likes it or not, Indu has made a place for himself somewhere in her Iron gilded heart! But I think she would rather die than admit it even to herself!
Pre-cap is bleh, we all know that Sanchi will do as she pleases, and manipulate her mother to come round to her side. Sigh, I'm still hating the fact that she wins! I so wanted Indu to win! And it looks like even Mahek has the vice-president role too now...

Bravo Suki! I love how nicely you put what Sanchi has become. I agree wholeheartedly. I understand her not forgiving Indu but being vindictive and spiteful, she is way too annoying. Indu thought the same but his calming down, what is it going to take for Sanchi to get off her high horse?
I am totally pissed at her characterization...I love the strong Sanchi but I could care less about this vindictive girl who blinded by her hatred, can't see Indu is infact changing. That I don't agree with...

I better stop, or I would go on another rant 😆

You deserve to applaud 👏 for writing this.Born and brought up in simple middle salaried class people, sanchi has been away from politics and set her goal according to that. But her tryst with mighty indusingh has dragged her into vicious circle of power and OMG she is loving it.

Agreed Foram! I feel Sanchi's quest to topple Indu has been pushed aside as now its all about her power trip. She keeps reiterating that their relationship is nothing, is she going to have to eat her words in the coming episodes. She seems so sure that there can be no love between them. Would she be the one accepting Indu in front of the world? Indu will learn a valuable lesson after losing the election, but what about Sanchi? Is that girl ever going to get off her high horse and attention seeking ways. I fail to see what Indu saw in her this past two weeks. I am sick of her thinking like she is the only person who can do no wrong? I don't mind her contesting the election but she needs major attitude adjustment. Seriously as per Indu, her nuts and bolts are all loose.

Ofcourse she is 😳, in a similar manner in which indusingh had declared that he will not give her any right of wife, but now he has soften his stand and want her to come back to him, why because love has conquered on hatred. He simply can't stop loving her.One more important thing is time, as i said earlier time never remains same, specially when you ride too fast, your fall is certain. Indusingh has learnt his lesson, ab sanchi ki baari hai.😆 She seems so sure that there can be no love between them. Would she be the one accepting Indu in front of the world? The show runs on TRPS, and indusingh is a crowdpuller, cv's that's why is not messing up with his original character, so what ever changes story demands, they brought in by changing sanchi's character.😳 because i feel sanchi was completely out of character in jungle drama, again this is my personal opinion. It's completely on cv's that what variation they'll bring in sanchis character in accordance with the public demand.( if cv's had gone according to characterisation, then Indusingh and sanchi will never be together )😃

Very well worded suki..there is not one para/line that i would quote separately as its a prose by itself 👏

Yup Sanchi was out of character in the jungle drama on some occassions foram but for the initial part of it, they did show a build up with how sanchi found out indu was innocent, felt guilty, had to run together etc etc..so that part was dealt with very well but after that it doesn't make much sense...
i dont mind sanchi not befriending Indu or her fighting elections...its the attitude with which she squashed Indu yesterday was what got me mad

No doubt, sanchi is being not only unreasonable but rude also. Why? What she still wants to prove ? I guess she is scared of love , to fall in love (please do not consider this as i'm taking her side ), she is a strong willed girl, and did set up a few goals in life, It could be happened that she might be prejudiced that falling in love and get married would be an obstacle in her path, and would not be able to achieve what she wants.
lol 😆 i'm pretty confused here, i don't know this is making any sense or what, i have just written what i felt 😳
