Casting Tanya's mother a sad glimpse, Sanchi and Mehek walk out of the house, all their efforts having gone in vain.
Ultimately yielding to her conscience, Tanya decides to give in to Sanchi's pleas and opens the main door 'Wait Sanchi'
An elated Sanchi turns around to face Tanya!
Tanya's hall
Now comfortably seated in the hall, Tanya warns Sanchi beforehand 'I'm telling you the truth, but please don't take my name or my family's name in front of anyone...'
Once Sanchi gives Tanya her word, the girl begins narrating the truth behind the ongoing conspiracies 'There is a professor in our university who promises to give us 80% marks if we bribe him well enough. Myself, Swetha and a few other students gave him 40,000 Rs each. He had promised us those marks. However, after the result was revealed we came to know that Swetha had failed...that professor cheated us... we decided to remain quiet about everything...but, Swetha demanded her money back from the professor as someone had loaned it to her mother... when the professor refused to return the money, Swetha succumbed to the circumstances and tried to commit suicide...' on being questioned about the schemer, Tanya reveals 'The name of the professor is Dasrath Shukla'

Sanchi and Mehek are horrified! The two girls cannot believe that the cunning man could resort to such devious tactics.
Soon after, Sanchi requests Tanya 'If you want your money back, you should co-operate with us... we need to ensure that Dasrath Shukla does not do the same thing to other innocent students as he has done to you... you need to come out with the truth'
Tanya becomes wild! She refuses to lend her support to Sanchi's fight for justice, as it could bring harm upon her and her family. Her mother tries to reason with her, but Tanya straightaway disagrees any form of association with the matter 'Dasrath Shukla is a very dangerous man... additionally, he is related to that rogue Indu Singh...if they come to know of our involvement in all this, we'll not be spared'
She apologises to Sanchi, reiterating that she would not concern herself with this issue any further 'I do not want to go through what Swetha is currently going through'
Mehek is taken aback by Tanya's self-centered stance 'How selfish of you...you are only thinking of yourself... don't you realize that this one step of yours can help so many students in the campus?'
A more composed Sanchi tries to calm Mehek down, letting her know that there was no point in forcing anyone to take a brave stance.

Outside Tanya's house
Furious with all the malicious facts she had just learnt of, Mehek advices Sanchi that they could come forth with the truth about the corrupt professor using the help of Janardhan and the police. The remaining campus could thus be informed of how education was being pimped out in their university!
'But we have no proof against Dasrath Shukla...and without proof nothing can be achieved' Sanchi refutes
In no mood to simmer down, Mehek continues cursing both- their ill fate and Shukla's fortune, till Sanchi comes up with an alternate idea 'We need to find out other students who might have been lured into this scam...one of them could muster courage to speak up against him...we should gather proof, without alerting Shukla about any of it...'
She pauses to take a deep breath 'And yes we need to find out if Indu Singh is with Shukla in all of this...or if he is speaking the truth and has brought no harm to Swetha...we need to channelize our anger in the right way to bring Shukla to justice!'

Prison
Tactfully leaning against a bar of his cell, Indu frowns at the presence of the visitor, his vicious uncle. Sporting a turquoise kurta, Indu converses with the man opposite him, the sarcasm in his voice barely hidden 'Oh mama...lately, you seem to have become really busy... anyway, you took the difficulty of coming all the way down here to meet me... I thank you wholeheartedly for that!'
Standing right behind Tiwari, the faithful Guddu speaks up to enlighten Indu 'Forget about thanking him...he did not come of his own accord.. we had to drag him down here..'
Fidgeting to avoid his nervousness, Tiwari replies, justifying his absence 'I was so engrossed in a case... I was unable to meet you...but now I'm here...'
'Go on...no...go on with your lies...no no...go on...' the wary Indu retorts calmly 'You have hurt me a lot this time mama... a lot...' he smiles cynically, before reverting to the prime issue 'Anyway, it's all but a matter of time...so, what's happened to my bail?'

Tiwari starts reasoning with his nephew 'Understand the seriousness of the situation... your university has started an enquiry commission... even if you did get bail now, the media will not spare you' while the silent Indu watches on distrustfully, the spiteful Tiwari continues his counsel 'For the time being, just stay quietly within prison...y...you don't know what I am going through watching you in this state...'
Observing Indu's annoyance unwittingly ebb away, Tiwari forces out mock tears 'I'm heartbroken looking at this helpless state of you, my dear nephew...I'll definitely get you out..get you out, so that you can avenge your humiliation from that witch (Sanchi)'
Hearing the mention of his girl's name, Indu glares up at his uncle warily. Pursuing with his charade, Tiwari deliberately prods Indu 'You were ruling everywhere... look at where she had dragged you down to...she has ruined you...'
Holding his nephew's face, the calculative lawyer puts on a sympathetic expression and then leaves after mentioning a few parting words. Indu suspiciously stares at the lawyer's receding figure, somehow his words appearing to have had very minimal effect on him.
Soon after, Indu's friends voice their opinions - They did not trust Tiwari too! While Indu lets out a thoughtful sigh, Guddu clarifies that a money-monger like Tiwari would not help Indu at any cost.
Raising his eyebrows attentively, Indu then metes out his orders to his friends 'Guddu...meet Shukla...and let him know that I requested for 1 lakh Rs for my bail...'
The caution and frustration in his tone slowly disappearing, Indu proceeds to advice Guddu 'One more thing, let Sanchi Mathur know that I wanted to meet her here in jail...'
Watching his friend's alarmed expressions, Indu directs them 'It is better to trust a dependable enemy than an unfaithful friend...so just do as I say...'

Den
Shukla bribes a couple of assassins to have Swetha Jha murdered. After a few moments of bartering between the two parties, a deal is finally made. Shukla mentally muses on his plans - to have Swetha disposed off and to ensure Indu shouldered the blame for her death!

Prison
Resting on the concrete platform in his cell, Indu suddenly feels the arrival of the one person he felt closest to. Moving the arm shielding his eyes, he turns to his right and there she was! She had come to meet him. He is profoundly touched - his hazel eyes aptly reveal the depth of his emotions. He gets up and walks to the bars to share a conversation with her
'Sanchi Mathur.. I called for her and she came to meet me...I cannot believe this' the emotional young man smiles softly at his wife 'Am I dreaming...or are my eyes cheating me...' moved by her gesture, he stares at the floor, failing to hide his emotions 'We do have a unique relationship... I understood this long ago, but you have never understood it...'
Sanchi interrupts him 'I don't have time for such senseless babble...tell me what do you want from me'
His manner soft, Indu gingerly looks up at her again 'I need your help...will you help me?'
Sanchi breaks out into a haughty smile 'Help? Indu Singh needs help? From an ordinary girl like me?'
'You are not an ordinary girl Sanchi!' Indu then pauses for a second to explain his situation calmly 'Now that no one is listening... I hope you will understand what I'm trying to say...I kidnapped Swetha...but I had no hand in harming her...please trust me'
'Why should I?'
'Please understand me Sanchi...I just wanted to ensure Swetha was not used as a weapon against me till the elections, that's all...I had no intention of hurting her...'
Sanchi questions him, her tone calmer than before 'If you didn't assault her, then who attacked Swetha?'
Cornered by his ill-fate, Indu whispers angrily 'That's what I want to know too...I need to get hold of that person somehow...I'm behind bars.. and cannot prove myself innocent...'
He looks up at her, his eyes melting once again 'If you want, you could help me get out of here?'
Sanchi replies animatedly, about to reveal her suspicions on Shukla 'I think the person behind all of this...' Instantly coming to her senses, she halts her confessions and revises on the issue. She wasn't sure if Indu and Shukla were partners in crime. Yet!
Watching her sudden silence, Indu prods her, his eyes clouded with concern 'Please go on...'
She amends her statement, wanting to see if Indu would reveal anything to her 'I think the person behind all of this is you and YOU ALONE!'
Indu tuts disappointedly 'You are a wise girl Sanchi ...please use your intelligence... let me come out...I'll prove my innocence' he proceeds to acknowledge his feelings gently 'Fate has always brought us together...and thats why we both have got married too.'
Irritated by his proclamation, Sanchi yells at him 'Stop this nonsense Indu... I am a good-natured person.. I follow the path of righteousness and you have always chosen the path of dishonesty and corruption...' he lets out a defeated sigh, as she continues vehemently 'you are wrong, your innate nature wrong and your deeds criminal...I have morality and I shall not help an unjust person...'
She walks away from there, leaving behind an angry and hurt Indu.

Mohalla
She had managed to leave the prison in a huff, but her mind was constantly revolving around her suspicion that Indu was indeed innocent. Just as she approaches her mohalla, she notices Shukla walking towards Tiwari's house. Worried, Sanchi decides to follow the professor and walks up to the old flat.

Shukla begins complaining to Tiwari how Indu had now begun demanding 1 Lakh from him for his bail.
Just as Shukla goes on to blurt out everything to Tiwari, Sanchi reaches the entrance of the open flat. Thank her stars, Indu's stars and our stars; Sanchi manages to hear everything from the evil horse's very own mouth - how Shukla had orchestrated two murder attempts and failed miserably because of Indu Singh, How Indu had never wanted to bring any harm to the girl, how Indu had managed to save the girl twice - even at the extent of putting his own reputation at risk!

Sanchi recalls everything at the hospital and thereafter 'So Indu was telling me the truth.. he was not the one who's hurt Swetha...it was Shukla who has done everything...'

Just then, Roop comes out of her hall and notices Sanchi eavesdropping on Shukla and Tiwari. As Sanchi is lost in her thoughts, she slowly turns around and watches Roop disappear into the hall in a bid to summon Sobha. Not wanting to alert anyone, Sanchi quietly slips away before Roop or Sobha could come there and raise an alarm.
Hence, when Roop and Sobha manage to arrive at the scene they find no one - but what they do 'overhear' shocks them - Shukla's upcoming plans to assassinate Swetha!

Shukla halts his tirade when he hears a noise from outside the door.

Precap -
The jail scene where Indu and his friends give the police officers sweets and manage to drug them.
Staring at the piece of laddoo in his hand, Indu smiles 'Good job guys... we've put everyone to sleep...now we have a lot more to do.'

when u r caution you should be neutral... when you say no ... it means negative...
May be she could have closed the conversation by saying i will find the truth ... and then decide.

Thank you so much for correcting me there avi...that part I wasn't able to decipher clearly... OMG, that is such a beautiful statement he made, if thats what he made...I've incorporated the change as you've mentioned...

Hee hee...two things for me -> the hindi used here is quite complicated...plus, I have to decipher it all without subtitles..
I watch it in a small screen in my laptop so I can update it for everyone else... so sometimes the dialogues might not be 100% accurate, but I try...

Thanks for the fab update Lashy!

Woohoo, I loved today's epi! It was fast-paced and for the most parts did justice to both Sanchi and Indu's characters. Plus all the other characters good, bad and the downright ugly rocked in their roles.

We start off with Sanchi's words having a magical effect on Tanya, and she determines to spill her guts. After revealing all of DS vile deeds she succeeds in stunning both Mahak and Sanchi into silence. Alas not for long, as a quickly recovering Sanchi begins to urge Tanya to openly reveal the truth to all. Throwing up her best Sanchi esquire brick wall, Tanya leaves the amateur detectives duo pounding uselessly on it, as she angrily declines Sanchi's offer.
Couple of things were unclear for me here. Firstly who incited this dirty little arrangement? Did the students approach DS, or was it vice versa? As going by a frustrated DS when he was attacking Shweta, the students came to him, yet today Tanya made it seem as if it was his grand idea. Also Tanya refused to co-operate due to the scandal, fear of DS, in addition to what Indu would do to her. So she seemed scared that DS and Indu were connected. Was she not present for Indu's stone pelting event, incited by his darling wifey? Doesn't she realise that he is an insulted and caged man? Or maybe her fear means that it doesn't matter that he is jailed and disgraced, as she believes that Indu Singh is still a force to be reckoned with. This might be good thing oddly for Indu, that despite such a physically degrading public humilation people still fear him.
Lol though coming back to our detective duo, Mahak was maha pissed that Tanya wouldn't help them. But what did she expect? Tanya clearly told them that she would only spill the beans on the condition it went no further. Sanchi and Mahak agreed to this bargain, yet once they got what they wanted they hastily attempted to backtrack on their end of the deal.
Lol Tanya should have asked Indu beforehand what happens to people who enter into any agreements with Sanchi.

However I loved Sanchi explaining to Mahak that they had to challenge their anger correctly. She finally acknowledged that it wasn't the time to act all hot-headed and impulsive. She needed to think with a cool head, even though her hated foe Indu was involved in this mess. Frowning at the thought he might be innocent she accepted the fact that she had to meet him if she wanted to discover the whole truth plus get justice. Though I admit I was rofling seeing the look on her face whilst thinking about their upcoming reunion. Lol she already looked drained at the thought of yet another verbal sparring match between them!

Tiwari is a still a snake, and it looks like Indu is wisening up to this fact. He was full of lame excuses in regards to Indu's bail which made his boys fidget and squirm with anger. After he slithered off, Guddo gave vent to his pent up frustration, and reminded Indu about what a greedy leech his mamu was. Indu pondered on his situation, before giving sharp direct orders to his boys. Instructing them to ask Sanchi to meet him he noted that a 'faithful enemy is better than a dishonest friend' in times of need. Lol I guess Indu is right in the fact that Sanchi does consider herself to be faithful in remaining his sworn enemy!
But IMO Indu was either telling a bare-faced lie here or deluding himself. After all wth was Sanchi going to do? How the heck could she help get of jail? Was it her that had lodged the complaint against him that she could withdraw it? Is she a qualified lawyer who could help in finding a legal loophole? Does she have any money to put forward for his bail? The answer to all of those question is no. The reason why Indu wanted to see her was that he too like a wounded beast needed his partner's support and assurance that all would be well. Somewhere deep down Indu is a traditional man, and he believes in the power of his marriage vows, and the fact he and Sanchi are solemnly bonded together. So he needs Sanchi to have his back, as if he couldn't turn to his partner, who else could he rely on?

Still finally coming to my fav scene of the day, the INSA meeting in a jail cell, Indu did seem genially surprised to see that Sanchi had acceded to his request. Lol I bet he thought Guddo and co would have to drag her kicking and screaming to him!
Hastily attempting to straighten his appearance, he approached her in a half daze, believing that he was dreaming. This is probably why he had touch of awe coupled with love in his tone of voice towards her.
Was it just me, or did anyone else think that Sanchi too drifted towards him, as opposed to her usual method of stomping over? She looked helpless, as if she couldn't resist the pull he had on her. Lol just yesterday girls some of us were discussing how she always has to put herself into close proximity around him.
Sigh coming back to Indu he was at his swoonsome best, as he softly stated that he and Sanchi had a unique relationship, that she -sob- never understood. Peeved at the fact that Indu seemed to be implying that he the unpad had more general knowledge than her, Sanchi snapped at him and demanded he get to the point.
And this is what I loved most here about their following convo; that both of them seem to have began to understand and trust the other. Indu in a calm and respectful tone beautifully counter-acted Sanchi's original high and mighty attitude. He paid her a few honest compliments, and was rewarded by her listening to his POV, and then thinking logically. There was no arogrance or show of power from him, expect when he declared once he was free what he would unleash on those who were responsible for his current condition. Indu told Sanchi the truth making no bones about the fact why he did what he did.
In response Sanchi began to follow her initial gut feeling to trust him, and reveal all about DS. However once again her head overruled her heart's feeble protests and she allowed herself to doubt Indu. Which in all honestly I don't blame her, as Indu has done far too much s***, for her to suddenly trust him with hesitation. Yet I loved that despite all that BS she actually does trust him. She knows he has never yet lied to her in a one-to-one face-off, and that coupled with Indu's almost gentle demeanour today made her almost confide all her suspicions and doubts with him.

However she had to put him through a test first, where although he didn't quite fail he still nevertheless didn't pass either. But Indu really shot himself in the foot when he brought up their marriage. Oh what a dumbass move that was! Sanchi instantly had her guard up, and her superior Ice Princess avatar resumed control of her. Lol in all fairness to Indu though, I don't even think he was trying to be romantic or possessive there. I believe that he was attempting to 'bond' with her over the fact that they were married, hoping that would spur her to get him out of jail.
Well that plan flopped like a lead balloon, as Sanchi ranted and raved at him before storming off, leaving him once again pounding his head.

Still he left some impression on her, as she debated on her way home whether he was telling the truth or not. Coming to the conclusion that at any rate he could still be useful, as being the witness she needed against DS, she was interrupted from her train of thought as the devil himself strolled across her line of sight.
Really showing what a natural aptitude she has for being a sneaky detective she successfully follows and spies on Ds. And lo and behold she is rewarded by overhearing the whole sleazy truth from the horse's mouth. Sadly however for us Mahak wasn't on hand with her trusty phone to video record the whole shebang.
But yes luckily for us Sanchi was knocked nearly for six, with the fact that her heart was telling the truth about Indu, but even more shockingly he was a hero of sorts! Indu the gunda had refused to kill Shweta although he was advised it was in his best interests. More to the point he had not only saved her life, but he had done so twice, putting his own precious career and self-respect at stake! A reeling Sanchi managed to keep her emotions in check, when she noticed Roop, so she fled silently, and escaped.
But Roop and Shoba as a result ended up being the one's overhearing the news of the next attempt on the poor comatose Shweta. And they unfortunately were not blessed with sneaky Sanchi's silent fleeing power, and in their haste made a terrific noise which alerted the dastardly DS and Saru.

Pre-cap Uff. That is all I need to say, along with the fact that if it is indeed his Bday, what gift would Indu expect or want from his dearest wifey Sanchi?!

Shraddha,

Thank you for the wonderful update.

Raising his eyebrows attentively, Indu then metes out his orders to his friends 'Guddu...meet Shukla...and let him know that I requested for 1 lakh Rs for my bail...'

WOW !!! 👏 👏 👏
Indu ..I just love this guy. Girls! Didn't I say I like his thinking brain matter even if it does extreme coercive actions. 😆 😆

And the CVs are trying to have the last laugh !
Indu wants Saanchi to help him, but she does not. So he will driven to rescue by himself. But that asking gesture atleast is some mellow gesture, sure to stay in Saanchi's mind if CV's want to use it. In reality it would have meant a LOT !!!

And when Saanchi will actually help inspite of refusing to believe him, I guess it will be Indu's turn to keep that in his mind. 😳

I think its high time Indu really gets serious and thinking rather than waiting on the prod-stick. He is always prodded to think when he is swamped in a mire. Lekin woh din kabhi nahi aayega kyoonki serial band ho jaayega ! 😳
