Is Hatred a Stronger Emotion than Love?

When Indu Singh fell in love with Sanch, the show seemed to lose its grip...it became mushy and silly...and whatsmore, even Indu Singh's character graph seemed to slip southwards! From a smart, razor-sharp and hot-tempered angry young man, he turned into a gooey, love-struck puppy!

There was no more excitement...nothing to look forward to...except seeing Indu making a fool out of himself in Sanchi's love! Even his mental faculties seemed to dim...he did not see through Sanchi's plans...fell for everything that anyone told him...along with his heart, even his brain seemed to have gone for a toss!

But since the story took a 360 degrees turn and Indu's love turned into blind hatre and rage...not just Indu's charcter, but even the story seems to have got a new life! Indu is not just a ruthless adversary who is not averse to using his brawns, but also his brains to get the better of his enemy no. 1...Sanchi Mathur.

Now every episode is dramatic...nail-biting and ends with a cliff-hanger...

Which makes one think, is hatred a stronger emotion than love? Does it evoke more feelings than love? Does it impact your way of thinking and acting drastically in comparsion to how falling in love would?

Indu has both loved and hated Sanchi with an all-consuming intensity...when he loved her, he was ready to give his life for her...and now when he hates her, he is ready to make her life a living hell.

Is Indu's hatred towards Sanchi greater than any love he felt for her?

Sanchi's hatred for Indu has brought her nothing but misery till now...will her softening towards him bring about a change in Indu?

Makes u wonder, doesnt it! But then i suppose its Indu and he is not really normal! He does things to the very extreme! He loved, he loved and now he hates her. I think Sanchi softening towards him would compel Indu to change. Sanchi's hatred has wreaked havoc in Indu's life but I believe her love will calm him down and make him realize all his misdeeds towards his lady love.

Beautifully put!

I remember the scene where Sanchi's mother is boiling water and she tells Sanchi that Indu is right now like that boiling water...and Sanchi replies by pouring cold water on it and cooling down the temperature...yet the vessel remains hot enough to burn!

I think it was kind of symbolic for Indu and Sanchi's relationship...she will realize that while what she was fighting for was completely justified...her handling of the entire thing was wrong...and her softening towards Indu, despite what he has done to her, will only bring about a change for the better in him! He might not change completely, but he will surely realize that whatever Sanchi had done was out of compulsion and because of the very circumstances that Indu himself had created!

Just like hatred and anger brings out the worst in us, similarly love and compassion brings out the best in us!

i just simply LOVED what you have written..Ur bang on spot.

Ever since the hatred and revenge track has started ;we are loving the storyline...

The reason we like the story id because the both the concerned parties i.e Sanchi and Indu are involved and hence its both ways while love story was only one sided...

There is clash of wits shrwedness and hence we are liking and last but the least, there is passion involved here

Great post. It is so true, ek tarfa pyaar seh bhala nafrat! I know and we all know Sanchi will soften towards Indu. She will find out things about him that she never ever thought of. Once she starts to know the real Indu, and starts liking him, it have have the desired effect. He first of all wouldnt be able to fathom what's happening but then wheels of destiny will turn and bring them together as two bodies but one soul! Those two have been rash in judging each other but time heals all wounds and theirs will also heal.

i guess hate karte karte ek dusre ki itni aadat ho jayegi ki then they'll start falling in love.. now time will say.. as sanchi is never going to stop and change and indu alwayz loved her for her being this way he will again start loving her... and as they say time heals everythng n it can also happen that she'll be able to understand that he is good at heart etc etc.. we can just imagine but lets see how the story actually goes... PATIENCE PATIENCE am loosing it 😔

The reason -

When Indu was falling in love with her, he went out of character...

Indu was not Indu, just a fool-in-love; and Sanchi paid him no importance

It was one-sided game, with Sanchi having an upper-hand over him

Hence, there was no chemistry 🤔

Now with Indu and Sanchi both hating each other

Both have fallen into their own characters, Indu being the tyrant and Sanchi the fighter!

It is a two-sided game and none has the upper-hand over the other for long

Hence, their chemistry is scintillating 😉

When i started watching the show . I was too impressed with Indu singh's character . Indu singh was daring university leader. Later he was not at all in his character saachi ji mathur ke liya pagal hoga tha . Indu singh starting falling in cheap tricks played by saachi which was very difficult to digest . As he was always shows as a strong character.

Now , Indu singh and saachi both are back in action . Game takkar ka hai...

Indu singh is behaving just like a gunda which was always expected from him.

I dont know when story writers will show love between them but i strongly feel this time... it should be initiated by Saachi AND NOT INDU.
