Actor Rushad Rana aka Kabir Dhanraj in Risshton ki Dor has found a new love - photography. The actor is clicking pictures of anything and everything that he finds interesting. And he is getting rave reviews for them too.

Creative eye: Rushad Rana

Rushad says, "I had a keen interest in photography since childhood. I wanted to become a photographer, but things did not work out. But, after Hip Hip Hurray, my life took an interesting turn and I became an actor. Life in any form fascinates me and I like taking snaps of people around me and capturing nature's beauty. I am also interested in architecture; so I click pictures of beautiful buildings as well."

And this happened, when Rushad went to Europe on a holiday, a few years ago. "I have beautiful pictures of Europe, but in hard copies. It was then I found my cellphone quite handy," he says. So, which phone does he use? "I use my mobile Nokia 7610 which has 1.3 mega pixels. I do not use a digital camera as I can't carry it everywhere. My MP3 player was stolen from the sets, so I prefer clicking photographs with my mobile phone," he says.

What kind of feedback has he got so far? "I have shown the photographs to my co-stars and creative people and got very good response. They in fact, wanted me to hold an exhibition of my photographs. Actually, my father is a painter and he is planning an exhibition in the coming months. I think, we can hold a joint exhibition," he says.
