Diljit wants everyone! 😆 He's sweet and comes across as encouraging and humble, but you don't get to be judge to coddle everyone. Judges are there to critique. He should do just that.
Monali has no mind of her own. She resists and waits till the last minute, looks at Shankar and then votes. And since last season when she unfairly picked on one poor girl for no reason, I find her judging very biased. To me, she offers zero value as a judge.
Shankar is the most experienced, the most professional and the most impartial of the three. That is not to say, I haven't found his comments lacking many a time - he was unable to offer an adequate explanation for kicking out Archit (is that the name of the guy who was pitted against Sagar Mhatre?) - he fumbled, stuttered and handed it over to the other two. It was pathetic.
I do appreciate the transparency though on this show, as opposed to, say, a show like Indian Idol. And I like that the judges have a say and we get to see just how much of a say they have.
