A, the way people will deal with situations like these would be very subjective. But let's try and look at this situation from R and I's perspective. If we look at it from Isha's point, she's always been quite clear about her decision on the merger and I think she always thought that Rohan would eventually give in to her. Rohan always has given in to her, and she was under the impression that even this time around they'll end up resolving the matter like they've been doing till now. And I don't see anything wrong with that, but like I mentioned to you, that her interactions with Rohan hasn't been covered as well as Rohan's with her. He seems to read Isha like a book, but the same can't be said about her. Now when I think about it, maybe that's what the makers were trying to achieve, Isha's always been a bit apprehensive with Rohan; not in terms of the friendly banter. But, you remember the scene when Rohan's talking about his family and Isha didn't know how she should comfort him, if at all. I am pretty sure there have been more such instances, just can't think of any right now. But, what I am trying to say is, may be its either she's had feelings for him earlier, that she's closed off or she's scared to take that one step further in their relationship, worried of the consequences if it all falls apart. She's always been the one who treads her steps very carefully, thinking, analysing and then experimenting. I wish for once, she would listen to her own advice and follow her heart..(that is a very unlike me comment..😕) I don't know, I wish I could understand her thoughts on Rohan more. I wish we would have gotten a second season, so the characters could be explored more...
One thing is for sure, she won't let him walk away from their friendship, the business part- I am not too sure of. Though I know they made it look as though Rohan and Isha are both aiming for different goals in business and in life, at the end of the last epi during that phone conversation with Vaibhav. But, there's a lot more to it, would Rohan walk away that easily from his baby; the business which they started together, which they worked so hard to get where it is. I wish we had got to see the initial days of how they started the venture, the ups and downs that they sailed through together. It would have shed more light towards Isha's reluctance to take up the offer, giving it more depth. Because currently it looks to me as a very emotional decision, even from Huz and Ruch. I am sounding like a broken record, but this show has so much potential..damn this stupid channel. All that aside though, I don't think Rohan would walk away, well I would hope not. And if he does walk away, then it definitely won't be just a professional decision; more so an emotional one.
Do I think she'd give them a chance, if she finds out that Rohan harbours feelings for her? I think she might do, but it would take a lot from her to eventually give in. May be, that is where Ruch might play a part. Or even that creep Ashish might also lend a helping hand in that realisation..Though I also think that YRF will likely leave it to the audience's discretion, but hinting towards them possibly getting together. I wouldn't even mind if they don't, it would have left with so much scope for the second season. *sigh*
From Rohan's side, we all know that the confrontation in the board room was a resultant of the buildup of weeks of frustration to get Isha to read the offer, then him noticing the slight changes in Isha's attitude towards Ashish, her not telling him the truth. Or it might also be that he's trying to run away from his feelings, he's scared of admitting it to himself more than her. I've noticed one thing, Rohan is very observant, he notices the slight changes in people that others might miss. And I think that's what makes Isha even more open to him; her expressions give her away. To that, add the fact that he's known her for a very long time, and possibly even feels something for her.
The Huzeifa point is a very good question, would he leave it up to the two, I don't think so. They're way too close to each other for him to not say anything. Do I think he should? No, coz that would end up mixing professional and personal lives together, which I think he's done in basing his decision on Mr Kohli's personal life. Or maybe his answer was actually not based on that and we are yet to see the main reason. I know Rohan currently is not very happy with Huzeifa, but he'll come around. It's one of those petty arguments you have with your friends. Rohan won't be upset with Huzeifa for that long, though I am not sure of Huzeifa's outburst when he finds out about Rohan's deal with India marriages. Humara Rohan..😆
Don't like Ashish, I think you're right that he might try and take advantage of Isha's vulnerability. Isha's always been more or less aloof with him, but if he tries something I hope Ruch and Isha beat the crap out of him..😆 Seriously, at this moment we can only assume things...he might not be such a bad guy as we are predicting.
So coming to your final question now, gosh you make me write so much..😆
I think good friends do make good business partners as long as you leave the friendship out when you enter the office, it should strictly be professional. You become business partners with people who you have a good rapport with, who would understand your reasoning, who you know that even if you disagree with, you'll eventually work around it. And in friends, you find those.
So I am done with my ramblings, hopefully you're still with me and not bored... so now need to get back to what I was doing before the match starts, which I don't have any hopes for. But let's see...
Loved your ponderings..you should write it out here more often.😛
