It had been 15 days since Kabir had told Ananya about her father's death.He knew it was difficult for her to digest the news.But he also knew that Ananya was tremendously strong and she would be back to normal soon.He also had called Mrs Kashyap to apologize that he had to break the news this way to Ananya. To which she had replied "I am glad this case is finally over Mr Sharma now finally my daughter can continue with her life.This case,finding her father she has been exceptionally consumed with it so much so that she forgot that she too has a life.So I should thank you actually." From the conversation with Mrs Kashyap he also got to know that Ananya also had met RG the main man behind this scandal few years back in the jail before his execution to search for her father but no avail. She had been disappointed but he knew that Ananya was also a smart girl and journalist.He knew that she had a inkling about her father but refused to believe without any proof after all he was her father.
At present Kabir saw outside of his cabin and looked at Ananya.She has been too serious,snappy with all around her.According to the peon she always since the day he broke the news has been at the office sharp 8:00 in the morning and worked quite late at night.Now he was officially worried about her.She was taking on too much work so that she did not have to thin about her father,the case,past 8 years and his death.She did not even talk much with Ronnie,Richa and Trisha.And from what he heard from Ronnie the other day she has been running almost 12 stories per day.There has been no defect in her work.She was doing all this perfectly so much that Khalid was thinking of promoting her.He agreed with the promotion but she was doing this so she could distract her mind,and she could cover her emotions with her work.He knew how this mechanism ended as he had applied the same when Shreya had left him.Totally involved in work.He needed to talk to her get her frustration out.He decided to wait till office timings were over.
Ananya's POV.
8 years... years I waited for him to come back to me,to armaan and most importantly to Ma.What did she do to deserve this.He committed suicide because he thought the case would affect us all but if he had been with us than maybe maybe we would have fought together.He fought for the truth and she very well knew fighting for the truth has always its price.Either you pay the price or someone close to you pays the price.She never in her dreams thought that her father would give up this easily.She did not know what to do.The day Kabir told her about her father was one of the worst nights of her life.She almost could not sleep.Infact if truth to be told I had not slept properly since that day.It was as if a storm of emotions was building inside of me and she did not know where to take it out so I decided to take it out on my work.I have been constantly working since 15 days.I just did not want to stop because if I stopped than the storm would take over her emotions again.
Ananya snapped out of her thinking mode when the peon told her that Kabir was calling her.
Ananya unlike regular times knocked on the door which surprised Kabir but again these days anything was possible with Miss Kashyap.
Kabir- Come in have a seat. It seems as if you are on some sort of roller costar Ananya.10 bulletins in a day and still it seems as if agar koi abhi bhi tumhe bulletin karne ko kahe to tum jaogi.Only Sunny has been completely exhausted.
Ananya-I know where this is going there is no need to go in merry go round sir.You told me a part about my life which has completely broken me how I repair that part is something nobody has to worry about.
Kabir-See you are snappy Ananya.And I know but your coping mechanism in the long run will turn you into somebody you will not recognize.I know a large pile of frustration is building inside of you please let it out otherwise it will severely effect you.Your friends are worried about you talk to them they will understand.
Ananya- Unfortunately sir nobody can understand what I am feeling right now.8 years I have been trying to find him sometimes I knew something like this would come up but I didn't trust my instincts because I had no proof to support this theory.He had no right to end his life like this when he knew his life was connected to people who cared about him,loved him and were waiting for for past 8 years.
Kabir- He was under a lot of guilt Ananya.The medicine had killed so many children.He thought it was somewhat his fault that he could not save them.
Ananya-Any logical explanation is useless right now in front of me sir.Jab zakham purana ho jayega tab shayad kuch samajh aayega until than this is how probably I will work.I am trying to go back to normal but it is not possible for me.It is better that you get used to this for now.
Kabir- You cant snap out of it Ananya I know that as well.It is a process but you hv to let the process function.You have kept everything inside of yourself since the day.If I am probably not mistaken You have not slept properly since 15 days.
Ananya- If I let one thing out than many things will come out sir.You see you are not the only ones who keeps things to themselves.It's getting late .Good night sir.
