Totally hopeless. If this relationship go further it is on Kabir's sacrifices n nothing else.

But can I ask you, wat would have you done if you were in her situation. She trusted Kabir like anything. Let's not forget how she stood for him even wen her mom was against him.

The CVs have indeed played a very clever game here. The revelation by Kabir was huge! He wooed Ananya and was all set to marry her while hiding such a HUGE truth from her! And all the while not showing the slightest sense of guilt or remorse! They realized that public opinion about their hero could take a beating. And that retconning was probably not the best idea. So what do they do? They make their heroine the scapegoat. Shift the focus onto her and her bad behaviour. So the public opinion could swing back favorably to their hero. 😃. To do this, it wouldn't just suffice for Ananya to give Kabir the Cold Shoulder Treatment. She would have to hurt him and hurt him bad! She would have to fling the worst possible accusations at him so the audience could see his hurt, puppy dog eyes and melt! And this is RK mind you... a master of puppy dog eyes! 😉So what happens? They have struck gold!😆 Everyone is seething at the unfair treatment of Kabir! How dare she defame him? How dare she insult him? Its fine if she had just walked away, called off the engagement, refused to talk to him etc etc...but how could she accuse him like this? Bingo! Exactly what the CVs want! Their flawed hero is still the hero. And their heroine is just a pig-headed moron who won't listen to reason. Never mind that this is her father that was wronged.

I'm not even arguing whether this is good or bad from a storytelling viewpoint. But obviously they are doing this to milk the situation for all its worth. How else will Kabir "prove" himself to all the naysayers, his GF included? How else will Ananya run back to his arms crying brokenly? How else will Shreya's nastiness be exposed? How else will Kabir get all of Ananya's friends backing him?

As for the public defamation bit, I do agree Ananya could have been shown more dignified had she not reacted that way in front of the whole office, despite Kabir trying to stop her and question her. But then when was this the case in Reporters? When they fell in love, they declared it in public! Their kissing and cootchie-cooing was also in public! Richa's feelings about Kabir and KaYa were expressed in public. Kabir was defamed and humiliated then too! To beat all of this..the proposal was in public too! What the heck, even Baby-Sunny romance is a public one! The fact that Ronnie loves Ananya is also well-known to everyone. So now why is everyone surprised when they are washing all the dirty linen in public? Ye serial mein sab kuch openly hota hai na? 😃
