Gitanjali quoting a part of my reply that I posted in other threads.
So the makers purposefully made us believe that Kabir came clean by telling Ananya whatever he knew about the case through his genuine expressions and then by not bringing up SK's name for a while (so that we don't get to see Kabir's burdened look) and solely focussed on KaYa's love story. I don't blame them for this because in a way it was necessary on their part for making the audience bond with KaYa. Had they shown us that Kabir is hiding something from Ananya in relation to SK then right from the start most of us would have questioned his love for Ananya and his actions with respect to their relationship right from the start. Many would not have seen his gestures towards her to be simply out of genuine love and would have scrutinized it the other way round! My perception of KaYa would have certainly been way too different if I would had witnessed Kabir's dilemma (if it was regarding SK's case)!!Presently I, (and everyone who loves KaYa) do not doubt Kabir's love at all and can easily understand how his emotions for Ananya and the fear of losing her to the inevitable danger that surrounds SK's case led him into committing this mistake. We have witnessed enough till now to realise how much her emotional and physical well-being matters to him!

I dont know if my perspective would have changed but it would have been better iif he had seen Kabir's struggle with himeselfThey could have shown it in a mysterious way withput giving detailes on the reasons for the dilemma

Do agree...a certain sequence of Kabir reflecting on his feelings, his changing emotions was required...a kind of monologue sort of, where Kabir has sort of battle b/w heart & mind wud have given us an insight to his dilemma...as what exactly made Kabir fall for Ananya...for sure it was beyond just physical attraction, or just the need of having a partner in life...that too, falling for a girl whom she knew is Sudhir Kashyap's daughter ...still he went ahead...
Even if this email fiasco hadn't happened, sooner or later truth wud have eventually come out...Shreya just became the medium...Kabir wudn't have managed to hid this truth life long...sooner or later he wud have to reveal it...may be unconsciously he wud have blurted out the truth
Even back then I had made a post "Why Me...Why Not you!!!" During date Ananya had asked this question "why me?" & I had same doubt too, for once, Ananya had been his fangirl since long...so she developing love wali feelings was easy ...though it doesn't happen in real life but still she developing a soft corner for Kabir was acceptable, she had been her fangirl so she easily just fell in love with him...
But what made Kabir fall in love with Ananya, inspite of being aware about every complication... is still a big question mark...
p.s.--the article was posted after confession episode, where Rajeev even commented about his happiness of audience accepting both parts of confession.

This reminded me of an interview I had read of Rajib Khandelwal. I dont remember the spourse but I think it was a newspaper where he had said that in the proginal script there were a few episode which revolved around Kabir's dilemma before the confession but the writer felt they did not have that much time . RK had had a long meeting with the writers but could not convince themAt that time I had not understood what type of dilemma but now it is clear what dilemma it was but now it is clear that it was the dilemma of hiding the truth from the woman he loved to deathI wish they had listened to RK and had listened to RK and had included those scenes . Maybe it wpould have given us some insight into why Kabir went into this relationship knowing that it could break if the truth came out

Hi Nandini, I totally agree with you but there is one thing which i want to tell you in context of the writer. However, I want to be very clear with everyone in the forum that I am not intending to criticise anyone, I am just narrating what had happened and my reactions post the incident.A month back, I had contacted Mr. Sammeer Arora on FB and discussed him about Reporters. With some point of time, we also became good friends. I really found him giving value to my opinion. And then, the episode of Kabir's revelation of past came and we witnessed Anita's illogical behaviour of believing Shreya entirely and not giving Kabir any chance to put his side. I somehow didnt like it, so I told it to Sammeer Sir, but to my shock, he blasted me out saying very snobbisly rather arrogantly, that people like me always think of self (since, I told him that being a single mother, I can related myself and I wouldnt have done what anita did) and that he doesnt care about people, since, their opinions change overnight. He believes in his characters and finds them just perfect. It was too harsh and since, then, I made it a point not to message him anything because I understood pretty well that this man might be a good writer but he cannot stand criticism, till I was praising, everything was right but the moment, I criticised... he was... Horrible. I, then contacted Rajeev with a lot of hesitation, expecting zero or may be more negative response but, to my surprise, not only he responded me quickly but was very polite also. However, he expressed his helplessness in doing something about other's characters since that would consider as interference from his part.I guess this is what makes Rajeev Khandelwal different from others!!!
